ARC (Runescape Client) - FIXED! - Works on all Windows + Linux Wine

Current client version: 0.03 (Beta)

TO USE THIS CLIENT YOU NEED MICROSOFT'S .NET FRAMEWORK 3.5! If you get an error when you try to run the client that says it has stopped working, that means YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT VERSION OF THE FRAMEWORK!

This is the beta release. I am currently developing the client mainly for myself, since I don't like SwiftKit, but am releasing new versions for those who'd like to give it a try.

Troubleshooting:
-Try running as an administrator
-Change compatibility mode to XP
-Make sure you have .NET Framework 3.5 WITH Service Pack 1
-Make sure your operating system has the newest updates

I have 64 bit Windows Vista, which nothing is ever compatible with, so that's probably why.

 

Yea, works for everyone. All it does is resizes the RS area to fit on the entire screen; using HD (which resizes to the size of your playing area), you can have fullscreen. Or, you can use it with the small HD/standard detail if you don't like the excess junk on the side of the client.

 

Just wondering, is this against the rules?

 

It's against the Jagex rule against Macroing, botting, or use of Third-Party software, http://www.runescape.com/rules/rule_third_party_software.ws . You can see the post and a discussion here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=796869.

They really seem to contradict each other, so it's your call; however, I personally don't use a client in case there is a chance of getting banned. Your call

Do you have a 64-bit OS?

 

DHow do i find that out? *blonde moment* :S

 

Press Start -> Right-click computer -> click properties
If it says 64-bit after "System-type" then you have 64-bit.

 

doesn't come up with anything **-bit :S

 

If you have 64 bit you'll see this:

 

I don't have that, plus I have XP. :S
