    The DNT ranks are in place for good reason yet there are disputes between users and DNT users all the time.

    Yes, it's the customers responsibility to research who they're trading and if they're reputable but there are also rules against trading them which are unenforced.

    I suggest to either enforce the rule or remove the rule completely as it's not enforced.

    I’m pretty sure these rules are specific to the website or a DNT user logging out and viewing the market place to trade with people. I can’t see how anyone can ever avoid this.
    At times even the DNT rank seems pointless when you can still “shop”

    The way I read this rule it states "if you trade with a user or attempt to trade with a user who is DNT you are subject to a temp ban"

    I may be wrong in my interpretation but if that is the case it should either be removed or enforced.

    I do agree with you though, it's impossible for Sythe to prevent anyone from logging out to be able to view the market.

    To clarify (and maybe we should edit the wording slightly to reflect this):
    - If you have a DNT and you attempt to trade, that is not allowed
    - If you do not have a DNT and you attempt to trade someone with a DNT, that is allowed

    Thank-you for that clarification. I can see how the wording can definitely lose the context of the rule.
    I think re-wording it to reflect what you said and making it more clear couldn't hurt :)

    The way I currently read it is literally "If you don't hold the DNT rank and you try to trade with someone who is DNT it's a temp ban"

    This is from a perspective of a DNT user:
    "A DNT user is not allowed to use sythe to find trades. They can't view the market (they could if they logged out) so if for example someone gets a discord add from a DNT user but they haven't posted their discord anywhere or advertised anywhere except sythe, that would be not allowed. Finding trades through other places is allowed, regardless if the users are on sythe or not and this is generally on discord trading servers. There are also a handful of clowns who have a DNT but will post a trade offer in a non-market section, that's also considered trading while DNT "

    So for you, with an account at a good standing, it's not against the rules to trade with a DNT user, although it's not advised.
    They are, indeed, DNT for a reason.

    Superfluous will edit the wording.

    I've edited the rule to say:
    Attempting to trade while having a DNT* rank (first offence). Note that users will not be punished for trading with DNT'd users, but DNT'd users cannot initiate these trades. Also note that this rule only applies to trading on Sythe and the official Discord servers.

    Let me know if that's not sufficiently clear.
