[APPROVED] Separate LoL Accounts into LoL Accounts/LoL Names

The LoL Accounts section has a lot of name selling going on, and I personally love that it's becoming more active in terms of accounts too, but uh... it's a bit clunky. And it'll start getting too full eventually.

I propose a simple change.

-> Split LoL Accounts into LoL Accounts and LoL Names

LoL Accounts as is, is simply inaccurate when it comes to name selling. Why? Because names most of the time are NOT sold with their respective accounts! So it's not even fitting the name of the forum it's in.

But yeah as a LoL section frequenter I just want to see something changed... it's kind of difficult for people looking for names to even find them as is lol. Plus, putting all of my names and then all of my accounts in one thread would be... hellish. Yikies

LoL name sale threads don't generate enough activity/aren't posted often enough for it to warrant its own subsection.

Far more ideal to simply amend the subsection name to be 'LoL Accounts & Name Sales'.

 

Idk, I kind of doubt that.

I know a lot of people already sell names as is, and I know plenty of more people who want to but can't really get into the market - this is a lot of potential for the new forum

As is, there are a lot of people posting looking for names, if a direct forum is named and outlined - there would most likely be quite a bit more traffic since it's explicitly named, bringing more potential for a bigger and more active forum.

I also second what Superfluous said. There are less active forums than what a potential LoL Name Sales forum would have, honestly. And I don't see why it can't be at least experimented with ykno.

 

Support, some sub-forums are completely irrelevant and are still a thing, worst case scenario this doesn't gain all that much traction and gets a new thread every so often. I don't see any harm in appeasing to the LOL players who use Sythe to buy/sell by making it easier to navigate.

 

Yeah, this is the main reason I want it - I feel like separating Accounts from Names would make a really nice change. I just want things to go smoother and for names to be more readibly visible to people lol. Lots of people will also be able to have their Looking For Name threads seen too.

 

I don't see enough activity in this forum to warrant a split. I agree with @SellerMan's proposal, however, to append "& Name Sales" to the forum. If this forum had more name sales threads than accounts, I would highly consider the split.

The sticky in the section ([READ BEFORE POSTING] LoL Account and Name Sale Rules) pretty much suggests we change the forum name as well.
