[APPROVED] Fix Alpha Bot clogging up the #crypto channel in Discord

I feel channel used to be a lot of good meme discussions with Boney, now its just full of crappy graphs.

 

Easy fix, just have the bot send a DM instead of posting the graph in the public chat.

Keep it cause it’s useful but make it less “spammy”.

I don't know of any option for the bot to DM instead. It would probably be better to allow use of the bot in a bot-specific channel only.

 

well we already have a channel for "bot commands", it could be moved there if ppl think its a problem

 

I think this is also a good alternative. The bot channel is meant for spam anyways (technically speaking).

 

I'd prefer two different channels if it's not possible to make the bot send DMs

 

Not really an issue IMO not many people talk in there and when they do the bot doesn't really stop people from having conversations. The channel seems fairly dead to me.
