[APPROVED] Revamp the Sandbox Marketplace

This subforum is a spam-fest - Sand Box Marketplace. Several people operate multiple threads each and bump them multiple times per day. As a result, some threads have over 1,000 posts and contain almost no activity other than the OP's bumps.

Currently, 99% of the forum is used for transactions involving miniranks, signature/avatar/UT space, and Sythe gold. I propose we give each of these things its own subsection, as follows:

Sand Box
--Dice Competitions
--Minirank Marketplace (splitting out miniranks was also mentioned in this suggestion sandbox marketplace)
--Advertising Marketplace
--Sythe Gold Marketplace

And then all the "other services" can remain in the "Sand Box" area (i.e., not in any of the four subsections).

Thoughts?

Everything's probably merged due to lack of activity. However, the entire marketplace is a mess. Only thing you see is frequent bumps with little to no trading.

 

An automated marketplace for Miniranks would be freaking legit and really promote the economy. It'd be a lot of work to implement but not that (?) much work.

 

Wouldn’t be too hard to change the section. I don’t mind doing this if enough users deem it too cluttered.

 

Yeah if I remember correctly it's like a five minute change. And in terms of activity, it's practically the busiest forum behind all the rs gold forums.

Tbh all the "activity" is people bumping their own pointless threads for postcount but I guess that's another issue...

 

support as it's an organization issue if we keep it the way we are right now.

i.e. someone going to sandbox looking for miniranks but having to sort through all the sythe gold, signature space rental, and advertisements to find posts relevant to them.

 

Support. My main issue with the sandbox as is, is similar to the other things stated above - mostly the fact that multiple people have 3+ threads and this is just a normal thing there. It gives no opportunity for anyone else to try to get in there cos you have multiple people bumping ~3 threads at a time and it gets overall too messy too fast.

I 100% am for the 4 sub-forums and the main section being for anything else that somehow doesn't fit... I didn't even realize there was a minirank or signature advertisement selling place until I saw this thread lmfao. Now I get where people sell those. X(

Really hope something is done here cos this definitely shouldn't be drowned out and/or denied.

 

I also agree, it is a cluster it doesn't take hardly anytime at all to reorganize the section.

 

I'm actually fcking pumped for this.

No brainer IMO and the idea proposed will help out many who are looking to buy and sell mini ranks (me included)
