[approved] Add Staff Advertisement Suggestions to the DNS List

Describe the problem: Repeat suggestions of "staff shouldn't be allowed to advertise via signature/UT/discord, etc."
What current rule(s) tackle this problem: There are no rules specific to this issue, but the suggestion has been previously denied on multiple occasions and could be added to the DNS list.
Explain the change: Add staff advertisement & compensation suggestions to the DNS list.
Explain why this change will fix the problem: This will help prevent future threads from being created and/or allow staff to quickly close and handle the threads if they are posted. It would also prevent useless conversation around rehashing a previously denied idea.
Side-effects: None that I can think of.

Add to DNS list permanently. Staff are not paid and this is some nice revenue generating for them.

 

I agree on both fronts; staff should continue not to be paid and staff should be able to obtain advertising revenue just like any other user. Support this going to DNS.

 

No support. There's unfortunately lots of liberal staff on this website that think they deserve money for a position they volunteeringly signed up for and were told they wont be paid for. It also creates a conflict of interest like someone mentioned in a previous report. Someone new to the website who stumbles across a thread and sees a moderator with a Runestake ad in their UI and sees them responding to a report on Runestake could potentially create a confusing situation. Staff should instead suck it up, stop being such a lame little soyboy about someone posting suggestions that could create real conflicts of interest.

Support - Should've already been on DNS. Staff already volunteer for the site, advertisement spots should be the bare minimum for their time and efforts. Anyone disagreeing is just a hater for 0
