I've had the Beta for around 3 months or so, and now that everyone else has it too I hate it.

iOS 7 looks nice so far, hopefully it'll be as good as it looks, will be getting iPhone 5s soon.

Then again, as I also previously stated, it has nothing to do with the brightness.

I'm not entirely sure if you're trolling or just slow.

    So...

If your light is too bright as you dislike how blinding it is, you.. - Turn it down -

K...now I think you're just trying to get me hyped up. Obviously, I'm not going to turn the brightness down to zero because then, there would be no point to even having a phone, as you can't even see or use any of the basic features.

You keep it half way, the only time your brightness should be up is when you're outside on a sunny day.

It drains the battery like crazy and it can be rather irritating to the eye. Too much unnecessary changes. Instead of being innovators, something they were a few years ago, it seems like they are starting to look like android and windows.

It used to be perfectly fine, when I browse safari and use other apps for example, I feel the need for a certain brightness. Turning the brightness to about pretty much the darkest feels better on the eyes when looking at the apps, but when Im on Sythe, or any site with a somewhat dark skin, I see to much of my reflection because of how dark it is. This was never an issue for me.

It seems like they tried to make things brighter. It seems to be imbalanced. You cant make the icons bright and everything else the same color. Fluorecent is the perfect word heads gave and I completely agree with it. Having a background that isnt too bright, with icons like this, is terrible imo. I already have my brightness set under half, anymore and it would start bothering me even more when im not at the home screen.

I share the same opinion as heads. Maybe because im not used to it, but my head already hurts a little.

One example is looking at your address bar on safari, it's grayish white, now when you look at the icons you will notice a big difference in brightness.

Keep it right in the middle, no issues.

I haven't moved it since iOS 7 beta 1 came out.

Mine is darker than what you have, a bit more to the left. But I am using an ipad 3 which could be different. The address bar which you have on your iphone is darker than what i have on my ipad. I doubt it is the brightness because mine is set on darker. Mine is slightly brighter but when let's say I go to the home screen, it's like my eyes adjust again due to the color of the icons. My brightness was about 65% prior to updating. Now it's at about 40. So everything I do has become a bit darker, to help with the bright colors in the update.

I do hope this is just my eyes adjusting to it, I updated it a few hours ago and feel like shit after using it for a few hours on and off.

Ill compare it to my sister's ipad 4 and check how it feels.

    Here is a comparison
    [IMG]

I was going to show a comparison in brightness between my address bar and icons on the home screen, but my ipad froze and started lagging. First time for me, never had that issue before the update. Anyway if you think the address bar is bright, it's worse when it comes to the icons. This is with about 40% brightness.

I don't think it's bright at all, although, the majority of my browsing is done with the private browser because i fancy the black bar from the white.

Im not saying it was bright, but it was brighter than what you have. And for me, when I see that then go to the home screen and see the brighter colored icons, the comparison between the color of my address bar and the icons is noticable. Something like when you're in a dark room and see light after a few minutes being in there. Not to that extent but a similar feeling.

Just found the private browsing on the ios 7, this is something I like, much easier to access.

I cannot say I am not in favour of the update, Ill have to give it some time before judging it. Ive noticed some things were made easier, only problem ive experienced so far is battery draining faster and brighter icons. It does give a good impression at first sight with the new colors, I just cannot stand it for too long.

This ^, I don't really like the new design of the icons and all but have heard it has introduced some nice features like the control centre to make it easier and quicker to access common controls like airplane mode and wifi, bluetooth etc.

I wasn't a fan at first but I've had months to get use to it and i wouldn't go back. It's much more convenient for everyday use.

Battery does drain a lot faster but also charges just as quick.

@ everyone bitching about the shape and style of the icons, it's an apple, if you don't have other apple products sell your phone and get a samsung. The idea of the new structure was to make it as similar to MacBooks - iMac - and Air - as possible.

I really like iOS7. It's baffling to me how so many of you think it's that bad. I think it looks 500x better, is 500x easier to use and perform simple tasks, and is incredibly innovative. Nothing seems too bright for me, and my battery life hasn't changed a tad.

I would CERTAINLY not go back to iOS6. Honestly, Apple has had the same look since they released the damn iPhone, it was time for a change. They needed to do something to attract people who previously said no to the iPhone, and I think this was it. I just can't understand how everyone hates it so much.

I actually really like it as it's more efficient, and once you work out some shortcuts it can make a huge difference.

I love the new features and stuff, but I am disgusted with the brightness of all the menus.
ALL white is not a color Apple, I'd wish they'd make the menu's configurable colors, or atleast release a black menu.

don't even start on the brightness option, white is still white, even if you smash it all the way down.

Played around with 7 a little bit. Didn't love it so I'm staying with iOS6. I can keep my jailbreak this way too.

I don't like iOS 7 my phone froze 3 times after downloading it made me poop myself thinking I had to buy a new phone and my battery life has gone to shit. My FaceTime and iMessage still doesn't work and I'm quite dissapointed with the iOS 7 product I wanna go back so bad. The only good thing I can see about iOS 7 is that they added the option to block numbers, and I like to see what that bitch has to say, I can ignore just fine.
