No offense but if you can't keep the fanboyism out of your post, don't bother posting haha. Also, just because I know it'll break your heart... Blackberry still has a much higher share of the smartphone market than Apple does.
Fanboyism?
I'm sorry.
I mean I have only owned every phone that has come out ranging from the notoriously BEST smartphone released by Nokia, the N95, with the BEST camera and the LOUDEST set of speakers on a phone to date.
To the Vertu, which is the expensive side of Nokia, where it's just a Gold plated and diamond encrusted phone, which SUCKS.
I have an N95 as my backup with a pre-paid SIM just lying around incase my iPhone breaks.
There's more facts for you.
Glad I sound like a fanboy when all I did was provide the truth.
The reason it's the BEST isn't because I own an iPhone, but its because in TODAYS world, the 21st century, kids all want the hottest toy. And that hottest toy is Apple iPhone's, iPads, etc...
Windows has been laggy, and always will be. I know this, I've hacked WM6 phone and the new W7 smartphone. I had the Dell Venue Pro, which is by FAR the best slide up qwerty keyboard TOUCHscreen phone.
Blackberry holds the market because of business E-Mail integration, and you know this for a fact. Don't need to be a business man to know that.
iPhone is used as a gaming platform, music player, internet on the go and a phone as well as a camera and on the go Skyping/Video calling.
Yes... the MyTouch 4G can do that. Good for Motorola, a company that has been losing shares to Apple, along with Androids buggy system. I have used Android, rooted and unrooted phone. Hacked to run all the newer firmwares. And what's the problem with Anroid? Well, it lags. It's bugged and is flawed by the buggy apps it has.
Blackberry is the best phone I have used to date for E-Mail and texting.
Blackberry messanger is phenominal.
Blackberry's apps? Overpriced. $7 for a theme. $1 for should-be free apps.
Windows has been bugged and slowed. Always Windows has been bad.
W7 is a smooth interface, yet the also lack in useful apps, especially the wy they work. they do not work smoothly and correctly, but the LIVE integration along with cloud integration is amazing.
Tell me who the fanboy is now?
Don't judge other people please. You know nothing about me, therefor you shouldn't say anything.
I don't really see how there is any 'fanboyism' in his post, he stated the facts and the facts only
Thank You. Atleast some people know how to read and understand writing.
Apple is very lucky to have you as a loyal customer, but you do realise that what you've said accounts for practically all smart phones now. Apple's brand is what makes it stand out more than anything else. Technology is in par with other phones now.
Apple will always lead?! Never go below other companies?! Do you realise what you're saying? Technology is constantly adapting/improving. Apple back in the early 80's became a top contender and then Microsoft came in and Apple became pretty much worthless. Now Apple returns, but Google is after it's market share and it is definitely catching up.
No company is resilient in this fast economic climate especially when it relates to technology and innovation. One step behind is huge in the industry and unless Apple plans to sue every company for copyright infringement and patenting lawsuits, hindering further innovation by rival companies, it will not remain on top forever.
Don't forget the big countries have anti-competition governance which disallows large corporations from acting as monopolies.
Further, with Steve Jobs out of the picture although he will still remain passively on the board, will put Apple through some tough times due to the fact that the new CEO has massive shoes to fill.
Loyal customer? Great... I've used Apple on and off throughout it's beginning, hated the FIRST iPhone, hated the 3G, hated the 3GS, and now I hate the iPhone 4, because I PERSONALLY like eye-candy phones. Hence why I had the Vertu, Ferrari Vertu's, the Venue Pro, Nokia's, the prototype CHINA Aeon, along with phones like the ever-popular Razr. The reason I HAVE an iPhone is because it has apps like Square, where I can charge credit cards from buyers on the go, PayPal, eBay, Craigslist, Banking apps with balance views and incoming outgoing transauction. Apple made the phone with a SIMPLE interface, buttons on homescreen. No navigating to anywhere. Click, sign in, and everything is easy to view.
Cool... I'm a loyal customer to Apple.....
Like I said, you don't know me, should be saying anything you don't know.
I sell iPhones on eBay and to stores here in Philadelphia, like JJ Electronics and Northeast Wireless. I buy them in bulk, so I got one for myself.
I Jailbreak and unlock them to increase my profits, that's why I have iPhones.
Wait WHY do I sell iPhones and not Nokias or Motorolas? Because they are the HOTTEST item out right now. People buy them from me for 800$ when I buy them in bulk for $250-$350.
Please don't judge me.
I do what I do, and know from experience.
I've handled more phones in a month then you probably did in your whole life.
Do not put me on the spot saying "listen to what your saying."
I am listening, it's in my head.
YES! There is new innovation... but for some reason... you can PORT Android on to Windows and Windows on to Android... yet you CAN'T port iOS into anything... so proves iOS is a stronger operating system.
Not only that, but, Apple made the EASIEST and SIMPLEST touchscreen available.... Android has widgets, which I like, others hate them. There's too much on the screen. Apple is simple, thats why its so popular.
Apples messanging interface, other phones adapted AFTER Apple made it big, others started to use threaded messaging....
Know what I've been through, the hundreds of thousands of phones I've used, I prefer the N95 by Nokia as the number 1 phone, and it is my backup phone.
Calling me a fanboy is disrespectful to me and what I stand for.
That's like me calling you a fanboy because you like Bentley or Rolls Royce or Lamborghini just cause it's the "fastest or more luxurious" car.
