Tbh apple pretty much lost the war with iPhone 5
Good choice. I'd sell. You're at the top of the market. Jobs is dead, the stock is overvalued and rough and ready competition in the form of generic tablets and phones running android are about to begin shipping out of china.
Don't believe me?

Keep in mind that USDs are also being devalued. So holding cash is a bad idea too.
Considering the magnitude of the next crash right around the corner, I'd be looking at diversifying some of that into safe haven assets.
Do you have any skin in the game or are you just talking?
And the reason the stock has gone up is because earnings have doubled in the past year
To a certain level, and that always happens with the iPhone anyhow, but they won't be able to hold it out like that again, which is where they will be anally raped by everybody who can manage it. I doubt they'll hit their targets this year since they seem to have completely given up on coming up with anything creative. Google is still driving hard but apple not so muchNot really iPhone 5 in my opinion was still a success even though it lacked major innovation as promised.
Apple marketed it well earlier this year they told everyone to hold out until later as the iPhone 5 was going to be huge so people held out on buying the samsung galaxy and other newer phones at the time. When Apple finally released their iPhone 5 there was no alternative unless you wanted the galaxy which was a little older and not as new as the iPhone 5. I think the Apple store sold out of the iPhone 5 within hours of its release being announced even today the back up is mid October on shipments. The hype of the iPhone 5 was very well done and the iPhone 5 could have been identical to the 4S and people still would have bought it because the hype around it was huge and those who follow that hype won't care about the lack of innovation that was promised.
Viou, you managed to create a serious topic in the spam forum.
I applaud you
Apple should continue to grow through their established iPhone, iPad and computer lineup. However, the technology sector is all about "What have you done for me lately?" Although it seems right now as if earnings will just keep rising forever, Apple will need to pump out a new wave of truly innovative products. The iPhone / iPad have only had minor adjustments since their initial release. The reason these products were so popular was because they felt so new and different from others.
For this same reason, another company who strikes a jackpot in the highly competitive phone / tablet sector could sweep up the industry. Apple has shown that they're great when they're leading the pack, but have had much more trouble in the past in terms of catching up.
Despite these concerns, Apple stock is trading at perfectly acceptable earnings ratios right now. The company has incredible marketing, and is deeply rooted in popular culture. It would not go away as easily as R.I.M. did over the past few years.
For the company to be a bull in my mind, I would like to see them expand their brand into another consumer sector. Apple TV was a major letdown, and I still see a huge opening for a company to really reinvent this seemingly outdated format. I-Tunes on your TV to download shows / movies, and some implementation of a game system hooked to the App store. There's a nice new revenue stream.
Apple will hit about $800 before it goes down, it is overpriced as it is.
don't believe it ever hit $800
Max it hit was like $630 I think
