I would sell it a week before iphone 5 release, investors want a stock before a product is released but they don't want it after the products released, I'm sure the stock will go up before the release but fall a bit when investors decide to sell after the rise.
My physics / Robotics teacher from high school had a few hundred or a 1000 Apple stocks back when they were essentially worthless. He sold them off for basically nothing and is now really mad at himself because his like $300-1000 worth of stocks would be a lot of years salary today. >_>
An entertaining tale you bring us, good sir.
I know, right? Such a silly guy telling us how the best score on some of his first year engineering exams was like 40 with most people getting 10-30 (out of 100). Lololololololololololoolooolololol.
Most people I know that don't have Facebook don't have any friends either. Correlates well with the amount of time you appear to spend on Sythe.
kayI see a lot of people moving away from Apple products though. They're failing to really capture peoples' imaginations with their new phones and tablets. Google is the way forward IMO.
kay.Not in apple. I do have stock in Marthon Gas CO, and had stock in BP.
I still believe through time Apple products will get more competition and the stock will eventually fall. If it has doubled, I personally would sell it. But like I said I never invested in Apple... should have :/

Sold it around iphone5 release at $680-700 per share, analysts are very hyped right now and it is unlike imo that apple will make the lofty sales targets many analysts are predicting
how much did you buy them for?
Good choice. I'd sell. You're at the top of the market. Jobs is dead, the stock is overvalued and rough and ready competition in the form of generic tablets and phones running android are about to begin shipping out of china.
Don't believe me?

Keep in mind that USDs are also being devalued. So holding cash is a bad idea too.
Considering the magnitude of the next crash right around the corner, I'd be looking at diversifying some of that into safe haven assets.
