I just stared at my computer when i saw this one..

Since when is speaking correctly alienating? I'm fed up with the notion that everything you say should be dumbed down for for everyone else. If the president isn't allowed to speak correctly then who is? I just stared at my computer when i saw this article...

That's kinda weird... though I guess every person has had their vocabulary destroyed by texting, and no giving a shit, but still, why shouldn't he be allowed to use full sentences?

I wouldn't really say that. I text almost the same as I would turn in an English essay.

Agreed (again, i agreed with a post of yours on another thread too).

I text using full words and try to use proper grammar, but i can't say i'm perfect since i'm sure i don't use comma's etc in the right spot every time since i was never taught where to put them. I just add in comma's and that where i think they should go, not neccessary where they are supposed to go.

Anyway, i wish i could speak perfect english. I don't find it alienating, if anything it teaches everyone how to speak properly.

It's a sad, sad day in which we criticize our leader for speaking well.
