Conspiracy Theories

After spending some time at the hall today a couple of the guys I work alongside of are apparently very interested in these conspiracy theories. The ones they spoke of today are the Sandy Hook shooting saying that you can't find much if any info on any of the children's funerals (aside from two I believe), and bringing back the discussion of 9/11 with both the towers and the Pentagon.

Anyone here interested in these theories and want to share/discuss some of your thoughts on them?

 

well, my friend claims that the twin towers was an inside job, and apparently there was dynamite or something that was planted in the walls a week earlier. Idk though, I'm not really a conspiracy theorist.

 

Honestly I don't believe any of the conspiracy theories.

The whole 9/11 was probably carried out by Al qaeda. Illuminati is some weird marketing technique to get people to buy their shitty clothing and music.

 

I can see both of them being true.

For Sandy Hook, there were pages made on facebook and websites made to help pray for families of the families and also donation pages. These were made and generated days before the event actually took place. Watch some of the 45 minute videos on Youtube and you'll find it very interesting.

The 911 one is tough to decipher but I can see it also being set up. Air support was told to stand down when this plane was identified as a threat. In short, the less complicated theory is always preferred over the more complicated theory.

The thing is with tragedies like the Boston marathon bombing and the Sandy Hook shootings - there is no beneficiary. There's no motive of gain, just chaos.

 

My guess is it if was used for any reason at all it would be simply for distraction because of the chaos.

 

man i love reading about conspiracy theories..more recently ive looked at sandy hook..but the 9/11 one always intrigues me..theres a few documentaries on netflix in USA about conspiracies

 

There are these loud sounds that are heard across the world. One happened in southern Ontario where I live this winter - it could be heard from across a few cities.

Again these noises are heard all over the world. Some say it's the HAARP weapon set up in Alaska that the US keeps testing (it's said that it was made to control weather), and some more nutty individuals claim it's the 7 trumpets of revelation.

There are the 2 underwater 'bloops' that are unexplained. One just happens to be almost exactly on the coordinates where H.P. Lovecraft said Ry'leh was in his fiction. Coincidence?

As for 9/11 that's a completely different story. I have watched numerous videos and some things hold a ton of weight.

The biggest "evidence" people can give in support of these conspiracy theories is the supposed lack thereof for the official story. Generally when questioned about how they can trust the validity of the hypothesis, all that theorists tend to respond with is "well how can you trust the government."

Occam's Razor suggests that such theories are for all intents and purposes, hoaxes. In other words, the official story is a lot simpler and far more credible. Seriously, consider the US government. Do you honestly think that it would be able to pull off such a huge conspiracy, keeping all workers / all involved people / all conspirators quiet, and all the while remaining entirely unnoticed? It would be the worst logistical nightmare of the century and is entirely implausible.

TL;DR: There is no evidence. Entertaining these theories is meaningless as even if they WERE somehow possible (which they don't plausibly appear to be), what on earth are YOU going to do about it?

I agree.

There is no benefit to shooting up a school. Sandy Hook was just a crazy man who did a crazy thing.

As for 9/11, the benefit would be to (one/some/all of the following):
- Scare the public so the government can create more airport security to give less privacy
- Make LARGE amounts money off stocks/investments affected
- Give the US a real target (Osama) and had the whole raid on his compound already planned out to make the public trust the government over all
- etc.

EDIT: This does not mean I believe 9/11 was a government job. I'm still unsure. I'm just providing scenarios.

 

I'm sorry, but I''m going to need more proof other than really bland pages before-hand, and edited names of pages afterward.

It's not hard to change the name of a page, after a date, and then play it off as current.


As for 9/11, well, I'd like to believe it wasn't an inside job, but it's hard to tell.

I don't really think it likely that a plan rejected by an administration over 50 years ago would still be in action. Also consider the above post of mine in response to the apparent controlled demolition of the twin towers.

 

I don't know why conspiracy theorists try to scaremonger so much, it's honestly the most annoying thing to watch online.

I think sandy hook was set up so the government had a reason to start their gun control shit. One of the "mom's" was the same "mother" in another school shooting and in the live feed from the helicopter above there was a man running into the woods after the shooting, which was never talked about again. One of the guns used to kill the kids was in the "shooter's" trunk. During a news interview the "father" of a kid that died was laughing until he saw a camera on him then he instantly stopped and started crying.

Some guy bought the twin towers and took out insurance like a couple months before the attack and in the pictures of whats left the cuts of the foundation were straight edged cuts, something that would happen if it had dynamite wrapped around it. All clean cuts around the metal support rods.
