Basically about a week ago I changed my skype password and stupidly enough I don't remember what I changed it to, I know the email registered to it but I don't know the password to it. Any ideas on how I could get access to either my email or skype? The email is with yahoo keep in mind.

I am pretty sure any e-mail address has a 'forgot password' feature, maybe try that? In the future I'd suggest making a notepad document for all your logins/passwords regardless.
If you are unable to recover your e-mail, I don't see any other way but to make a new skype.

As far as password recovery features, most e-mail services certainly do offer them. You can typically find a link like 'Forgot Password?' next to the login credentials area.

In regards to keeping a text document on your computer containing your personal information, I would advise against this. If for any reason your computer is to become infected with a trojan virus, keylogger, spyware, etc, all of that information is very easy to access unless the text document is heavily encrypted and/or password protected. I recommend keeping a physical copy of this information in a secret location that only you would usually have direct access to.

I've been in this similar situation - even the recovery process for the old email was linked to an old and no longer used mobile phone number. Try the recovery feature implemented and if that does no avail I would suggest personally contacting the mail provider with your situation and I'm sure they will guide you to recovery.

To recover your yahoo mail try going HERE and it should explain the process!

If not, you can try contacting them via phone which their number seems to be: 1-855-984-1516 as shown in a google search
