    Anyone joining the army?

It has it's positives and negatives. I don't think I'd ever join because I don't like commitment. Also my dad is in the military, so I get some of the benefits like the GI Bill which pays me to go to college, and cheap insurance through USAA.

If you're smart, and can graduate college joining the military as an officer is a lot better.

Officer's do exactly that. They work in a office. I wouldn't say it's easier but you just deal with less bullshit like details/ cleaning.

And vets get a lot more help finding jobs and there are large incentives for employers to hire vets.

personal space is important. you don't realize it until I don't have it. amazed by the difference it makes when I have the house to myself for once and a while. changes my wholemindeset.

I'd rather prefer not joining the army because my personality wouldn't fit the requirements.

Where i live its mandatory, and i believe thats wrong, the government forcing you to do something for 358 days that you have zero interest in doing. But i guess i was lucky as i faked to be injured and went to a private doctor and i was in the clear. I would have been depressed af if i had to go and do that shit, its like humans have no rights there, sleeping in a fucking tent while its -35 degrees outside, getting to shower and put fresh clothes on ONCE a week, and the last thing is that they do not feed you well enough due to their budget so most kids come out of there being skinny as fuck a calorie diet of 1700 calories a day, not even close to enough that i need

My friend just came back from Marines boot camp the other day and he has everything negative to say about the Army lmao. I used to want to join the Marines a while ago but I'm not fit enough for it and they run you down even if you're not physically capable because they've already spent time and money on you, they aren't gonna let you go. I thought about the Army also since both of my parents are veterans of the Army, but as I said, I'm not physically fit enough. I think I'd be okay with being constantly being told what to do by someone else of authority, but I'm still not cut out for the military I don't think. As of late, the government seems to be kinda whack, Idk if I'd wanna be a namesake of them. It will still always remain my last-resort plan though.
