The derivative of x as ln(x) approaches infinity is 0 because the only variable is x and since ln(x) does not have a horizontal asymptote, that means y does not have a limit so as ln(x) approaches infinity, y approaches infinity also so d/dx(infinity)=0. Problem solved.

the derivative of log x equals 1/xlna and as x approaches infinite, 1/xlna= 0
