Anybody else not enjoying the changes?

The changes seem too snowball to me. There is absolutely no room for comebacks. For example, I'm an adc main and if I die to my opponent just once, the lane is pretty much over. Also, I like the fact that games end sooner, but I feel like there is less enjoyment in the game for me now that winning or losing is determined in the first 10 minutes. Anyone else not like the changes?

 

After 5.22, it feels like I'm playing a completely different game... I just have no idea what's going on anymore. I feel like Riot made just too many changes at once this time around, and that getting used to them will take a LOT longer than any other major changes rolled out in the past.. I think the game is in a particularly bad state of balance atm and am not liking it at all.

 

EXACTLY how I feel. I don't even know what game I'm playing. Everything is so different. I wonder why they don't present changes gradually rather than all at once.

Yeah, I've been playing since Season 1 and have never felt so out of touch with the game before. Even on all of my comfort picks still feeling kinda helpless.. it's really weird, it feels like every champ is a juggernaut now lol

 

I honestly don't even know what this game is anymore.

 

This time they have changed too much at once imo. Game feels way to different, with some champions being completely useless now.

 

I agree with this, I think that they should've spaced out the changes, though I do think that people will need to take some time to really appreciate what happened.

 

I really don't like it. Some champions are insanely snowbally like Jax and you're hopeless to do anything. My season 5 adc's are really weak compared to the reworked ones and some champions are ridiculous. AP's got shafted for no reason when it was juggernauts that were too strong & control mages for peeling were the only real counterplay mid game unless you snowballed as a botrk champion. :l

And then there's Yasuo's laning phase... let's not talk about that.

Yeah, the buffs they did to the adcs just aren't enough to compensate for the drastically shortened game time imo. If you're not playing pre-hotfix Graves, there's just no point in the game where you can have a meaningful impact.

 

I hate it now. Completely different game.

 

I mainly play mid as my role of choice for five seasons now, the sudden rise in costs of AP items makes me want to change roles T_T

On the other hand, I'm considering the viability of mid ADC.

 

In a month everyone will be used to it like every other time they made big changes.

Weird still but in time it'll all work out

 

Jungle sucks for non-sustain champs, once they change smite timers to 15s earlier things should get better.

Seems to me that top/adc is the way to go for climbing solo queue.

 

The changes definitely made a few champions/roles stand way out from the others - namely the crit mastery on Tryn/Yasuo/Panth and Guinsoo's on champs like Jax/Irelia/Xin. Jungle and mid kinda got shafted. Not too sure about others but I think that Lucian and Soraka are particularly strong picks at the moment.

Anybody know what kind of changes/hotfixes are planned? I heard they were nerfing the crit mastery and will probably do something to Guinsoo's because it's just too cost-efficient right now.

 

As far as I know / remember, they are planning on tuning down Graves, limiting the crit sustain to champions. Guinsoo's definitely needs to be made a bit more expensive, possibly building from a BF / NLR and then having a bit more expensive combine cost. I read somewhere it has some 6k worth of stats for just a 2.5k price.

 

Yeah. On champions that can use all the stats (Ezreal) at 8 stacks it adds up to nearly 250% gold efficiency. Plus you can stack it with your q (regardless of hit/miss) and your q procs all effects of Guinsoo... It's just way too strong.

As for AP's in mid lane, I've found it way harder to carry games since 5.22 regardless of how much I snowball. It feels like however many times I delete their carries there's still a Jax, Xin or other bruiser that melts my entire team while I wait for cooldowns and re-position.

Edit: I did write something about control mages maybe coming back into meta because of the lower gold income, but after seeing Orianna & Lulu's win rates I think I'll take that statement back.

 

Looks like rageblade is going to cost 2800 gold on the PBE.

 

I dont like the updates at all. I cant fucking stand xin, jax or the snowball effect. I dont know why but ive ended up with the most autistic fucks since the update as well. 1/6 since the update im so disgusted i legit havent touched league in a few days.
