Anti-Scam section Standard Slipping

I've been looking at the anti-scam section every once in a while, and I've seen:

1. posts that haven't been checked, or maybe not being responded to.
If you have looked at it, and you are discussing it, please let us know so we don't waste our time bumping it, and if you are, then we would appreciate if you checked every report.

2. If they aren't being checked, they fall, so we need to re-locate the thread and bump it and in the time it takes to check the posts, by then, the scammer may have scammed a whole lot more than say a few hundred K.

3. Maybe if you have a few set times, each day, where those in charge of the section, or a global mod checks the posts etc.

I know I'm being a pain in the @$$, and you guys probably have a perfectly legitimate reason. Just please try and get onto these posts a little faster?

P.S. A few months ago, I thought it was fine the way you were running things. I mostly saw Pen, SMR and Matthew handling scamming and Viny and Town handling Spamming. Its just slipped to a rather ugly point.
 
Hey, this is 100% true, mods etc of Sythe need to be looking at Suggestions and Scam forums like, ever hour or somethinf, there's so many scammers around these days, not only this site but most others too, but it's gotta stop, read Suggestio forums and Scam topics and post so we know something's gonna happen!

I totaly agree they need to up the standard a bit.. OK i wont lie allot..
 
I'll be honest, some staff members just can't be bothered. They'l probably have a go at me for saying that but it's true.

WoW Sucks handled a lot of them but he left, now no-one really seems to be doing 'em. Town, SMR and Pen do quite a few though.

I'll agree with that, but they seem to do between 1-3 or 4 at a time, when they do check it. I'm sorry, but I haven't seen more than 3 posts answered in many weeks.
 
As much as it pains me, this is true.
A few days ago I posted a very simple scam report, proper screenshots and proper proof. It took 2-3 days for him to be banned.

I really appreciate the work beeing done, but there aren't that many new scammer reports a day. Just checking on a daily base would take up maybe 15 minutes, but help out allot more people.

It's the most you can do now, since the forum goes down every 5 minutes.

It cannot be fixed.
People keep attacking the servers and somehow, someway, they keep their trail completely clean. Sythe and it's administrators are doing everything they can to keep sythe from going down, but you can only do so much.

If you cannot catch or trail the perpetrators, you cannot fix the problem.
So far, they have been very ingenius in keeping their cyber trail completely anonymous, apparently.

It's sad, but theres no server in the world that is completely safe from attackers.

I know it takes such a long time for them to get banned

That's just amazing how they can maintain that anonymous trail. It's a real shame :(
 
Not to mention that it appears that the amount of idiots on the site who either buy accounts, or don't use an MM, are growing. This doesn't help.

Perhaps we wouldn't have such a problem if less people were stupid enough to get scammed. In my opinion, unless you get scammed by a very trusted member or MM/Mod, you're an idiot.
 
Personally i think people who get scammed by not using a very trusted member or a mm deserve it.
 
Well, that's kind of true I guess :( But I noticed Pen's been convering alot of reports. Might as well rule this out now I guess :D
 
I think that the Sythe mods are just overwhelmed, there need to be more of them.
 
Its hard to say what the site needs.
Its an extremely big community, alot of the mods would most probably be doing exams around this time

The mods at sythe are volunteers.
You cant expect someone to drop their real life for a website they dont even own!
 
pen is just little tired and have little fever , and he havent cash for buy alvedon joking. but i have raport 2 ppl and both is important they need be banned and it have stay there 5days now can mods wake up please?
 
This is getting a bit crazy, there are reports on page 30/34 of reports, that haven't been responded to. :(
