Anoying MERCHANTING clans

Ok so i looked at the GE thingy and saw that red spider eggs were going up in price so i was like sweet and spent 4 mill on them. The next day i looked and they had dropped by 26gp!!! wtf that like a 400k loss in one day. The only way that could have happened is from merchanting clans. Y Y Y !!!! What to do?

Don't invest in idiotic items like that which are obviously being merch'd by a clan.

 

Grow a brain,that's how.

 

Dont buy things that are crazily rising because it could be dump day for merch clans = MAJOR DROP!

 

why are you complaining about merchant clans when your failing to merchant?

 

Merchanting is a gamble. You can make a lot of money (like I do) or you could lose a lot of money (like you did). Before you merchant, you have to realize that there is a risk and be willing to take it.

Yeah so many people like you get played by all of those noobie merching clans that advertise at the G.E. Trust me if they are advertising then they are no good.

 

Looks like someone didn't check the charts, if you saw that it was going up for over a week, don't buy.

 

i'm sorry but it seems that you are mad at merching clans..because you fail at merching? If you are any type of mercher you know that when something like red spidey eggs that are only like 300 gp ea go up 30.. it's a merch.. and why would you ever invest without checking ge charts... they are your friend

 

Lol, if somethings already going up its to late to get in on it, unless its a big item like ags n what not, Kind of ironic you try to merch and lose your money to a merchanting clan, karma imo :embar: if you wan't to merch something, get a few trusted friends [5-10] all put 50m aside, watch the charts, find something thats at either its average price for the 180 days, or lower then the average, buy it out, sell it when either other merchants start trying to merchant it, or dump on a clan chat lol.

 

Just join a merchanting clan? I used to be able to get access to a few decent sized ones that would always having you turning a profit on what they doing that week or the next few days, whatever it maybe.

I don't know, I think that aspect of it kind of ruined the game for me. It was easy to make money, which ruined things maybe? What I disliked was that it was a distinct advantage over the new players I guess? No that wasn't it, I think it was because it just didn't really interest me and I would rather no one able to do it rather than being able to do it.

Being able to do it I had an advantage over a bunch of the players because I was 'richer' than them and eliminated everyone would be even. I would benefit more with the system working the way it does, but I'd rather it just not possible.

So I guess agree, but if it really bothers you it's not like it's impossible to become a part of one and put yourself on a level playing field.
