As you know, my suggestions attract a lot of both positive and negative attention, and I've got another one today.

My suggestion is to show signatures only once per page in a thread. The signature would be on the last post by the user on the thread. This reduces clutter and memory, and makes the site look more professional.

    Thanks, and comments are appreciated.

I doesn't use that much more memory, and this is the whole idea of introducing google gears.

I think it would be retarded to only show a persons signature once per page. Would take away from the flow of the layout.

Sometimes I go back in a thread to see if I can find someones sig really fast and with this implemented it would just be harder to locate someone.

Ah, just kidding <3. On topic though, I don't really see the use. Yes, it may reduce memory etc, but signatures aren't that big. Simply skip over the signature..

So I'd give this a No. Not needed, and wouldn't really change much. It's fine how it is.

Perhaps just have an option to only show 1 signature per person, per page. Doesn't Sythe have a do not show signature option? Just add onto that.

Your suggestions never get ANY positive feedback. I can't tell if you're thinking you're being some cutesy troll or not right now.

Signatures are only stored in one location and then called upon by a process as old as the Internet, linking.

Once again, please stop making suggestions until you've read atleast one book.

Edit: the book can be about anything, just please be a little bit less retarded next time you post.

Yeah, they may be called upon by a process, etc, etc. Whatever. But to load all of those images, GIFs, Avatars, and maybe GIF avatars, it really puts a load on the user's PC if he/she has an old computer. It's annoying as hell to me, too.

It should have quite a bit more to do with your internet connection than your computer. If your computer is too old to load pictures, that is your problem. The website isn't going to make exceptions for the minute percent of people who have archaic computers that have problems loading pictures.

If you really think pictures "put a load" on your computer, disable them.
