I've got a bit of a story here

I'm not sure how it is in the US but in Canada if you are a pedestrian in a parking lot you always have the right of way, and drivers need to be watching for you, not the other way around.

So, I was heading back to my car from Starbucks with my coffee.

After I step off the sidewalk this car that was headed my way needed to stop for me. I keep walking.

The stupid driver takes objection to this (even though I have the right of way) and yells at me very loudly:

"WOWWWW!!!!!"

*I ignore her*

"REALLY?!"

*I still ignore her*

Then once I'm far enough away from her car that I can't hit her she yells:

"FUCKING ASSHOLE!"

This is making me very angry to think about. That stupid bitch was the asshole not me.

 

Lol don't worry about dumb bitches like that. Next time just give them the finger and keep on walking.

 

legally they need to stop, but anyone stepping out in front of a car coming towards them is just an idiot -.- ... just wait for it to go by, it's not a big deal.

yes in america the pedestrians have the right of way. However use your fucking head... What if she didnt see u? what if you actually had to use common sense, and understand that just because you have the right to walk in front of that moving vehicle. Doesnt mean your supposed to... Yeah I gotta agree with these people. Right of way, crosswalk, even if I'm on a sidewalk (not really that one, but you know)... I always look for cars and cross when I see they are stopped. Even if they're going super slow and there is a crosswalk in front of me.. I just let them pass. I can wait a few seconds to cross the road, rather than save 10 seconds and risk my life. I always curve away from cars that are turned on in parking lots, etc.

Why is no one understanding that this was in a parking lot so she was going like 5-10 km/h tops, if she did hit me it would not have even made a scratch.
