Another Infraction

Once again i've received an infraction, that i didn't know about until i checked my user cp today because i wasn't informed (2nd-3rd infraction i've received without being told.)

Anyways, on to the infraction itself. I can't help but feel as if this was nothing more than an attempt to fill a monthly qouta seeing as though my comment was in a humourous/sarcasting matter, it still had relevance to the topic at hand. I dont know if Benwise did this intentionally or as an accident but i dont feel an infraction was called for.

Just to clarify, the only way that you can get notified if you've gotten infracted is if the moderator attached a PM with it, which they probably didn't.

As for the infraction, I think it's warranted because when I read the post I still don't even understand what you're getting at or if it has any relevance to an already meaningless thread.

 

It was on topic, I'd say reverse. I'll leave for another opinion, though.

Those are the exact words i used. And seeing how other business were benefiting off the success of a pornography site, i think it is relevant to the thread at hand. People don't visit those sites to take notes, or play video games, you know what they're doing. And seeing as how they're paying for it, the site is making money...which is where my comment came to mind.

It was a "joke" because of the fact that a porn site sued another company. It obviously wasn't a helpful and thought provoking post, but at the same time wasn't completely off topic. Your call.

 

The post itself isn't helpful or clearly on topic, I'd say the infraction is warranted.

 

In that case we'd have to infract almost every post in that thread..

Why allow free speech on threads if every post warrants an infraction. You'd be better off giving each un-ranked sythe member a script to type. Also, would be better to rename the section, "post here for ban", seems more suiting.
