Anonymous Help Subform

Hey All,

With the recent passings of users on Sythe.org, specially the two most recently. I think it's time that we try to provide as much self-help on Sythe.org as possible. I think one of the things that stop people from reaching out to friends and perhaps even family is the fact that they are embarassed by their conditions, or think they'll be laughed at and judged.

I'm advocating for a Personal Help subform (or equivalent name). Anyone who creates or responds to a thread in this subform will be anonymouse (no user tag, no bar, no name) eliminating the need for people to create throwaway accounts. I think this will encourage people to seek help, or maybe even advice for personal problems from Sythe.org members, whether friends or strangers.

I would also like to submit that this form be extremely serious, people are posting there to be free from judgement or being laughed at, and I know there are times when I would have posted there myself. I'm advocating that only admins be allowed to see the usernames of people posting (and only if they need to check for either immediate purposes or to punish rulebreakers). I also think that regular mods should have the power to flag spam / rude posts and they will encur much steeper penalties than spam posting on other threads, I dont think this is the place to spam people when they are asking for help.

Whether it gets one post a week, a month, a year. I think it is our duty to do what we can and we can at least offer this to members who may want to reach out for help.
