It would be so much jagex-like to say that there is an announcement on monday, and then the release will come in 3 months.

A J-mod confirmed they haven't been working on the update till the voting was over. So, don't get your hopes up. The update might not come for weeks, maybe even months. They have a lot of work to do....

It is true. They knew most of the community supported it, but they said going ahead and starting the update without the voting ending would be going against the rules.

 

Yeah but all they would have to do is re-institute their old system and add a few modifications. Shouldnt be too hard right?

Jagex is full of fucking morons. That's all they are; fucking morons.

NOW on Monday they are going to spit out some bullshit, and then delay the update. It wouldn't even surprise me if they didn't say anything at all Monday and then Tuesday is when they say something, just because of how retarded that company is.

I predict the update to be implemented next month, rather than Tuesday like I previously thought. My reason is because I figured that they would, today, say that the update was coming Monday or Tuesday.. but now that the announcement is coming Monday, Tuesday seems like a longshot.

I can't believe people actually thought that the update would come immediately... It's still got probably weeks/months of development to go through. It's not going to be just the same wildy as old so they can't re-use the programming.

 

My guess, the 24th. It really shouldn't take more than a week.

Jagex knew that "YES" would have the majority.. so I'm guessing they got it all ready to be released, but hey.. never know.

 

On monday jagex will probably say something like ''we said we needed 1m votes but on second thought nah we'll give you 6 months to get at least 5m and then we'll have plenty of time to make up a new excuse, err I mean code everything for the comeback.''

 

Guys you need to just calm down and cut them some slack, yes they've released too many bad updates, yes they haven't always kept their word. Though there are too many people trying to make them rush the job.. do you want it back or not? If you want it back just wait and quit complaining.

 

If they reject this I will quit RS forever.

I hope they release it on Monday or Tuesday, which obviously wont happen though.
They'll just say they decided to add Free trade + Wild back, which we knew would happen anyways. Just let Jagex find out whether 91 is a bigger number than 7.

 

I think they're treading on thin ice with all this stalling and postponing.

People are just going to get more and more impatient.
