Why do you use SwiftKit?

As I'm trying to make SytheClient better and better, I'd like to know what keeps you using SwiftKit. Additionally, if you've taken a look at the new full release of SytheClient, if there's anything you see that makes you turn away from it please let me know here too. I'm relying heavily on user feedback since the client as it is is fine for me, so that doesn't exactly allow for much space in terms of imagination.

And idk, Do you think there are any benefits over SwiftKit?

 

I like to think SytheClient is more customizable than SwiftKit and overall more modern and fast, capable of more in the long run, etc. I was curious since the majority of Runescape players actually use Swiftkit.

 

I use it because everything i need for runescape is right there, Database for monsters, quests, Items, Guides, Hiscores, Timers and all the other stuff. and Maybe the best part, I don't have to hassle using a browser.

 

Make it as unique as possible, add a browser if that is possible, so we can browse the forums or whatever in a second tab.

 

You should also now that i think about it add SytheBar. Its Awwwwwwmazing for navigating sythe without having to load different pages.

 

I mainly use it for the hiscores, and IRC.

 

I use Swiftkit cause of highscores and IRC mainly, But on the odd time, its got alot of other useful tools.

 

yeah exactly, it's like you bought the game at the store or something and don't have to use a "browser"...sadly though I am a hypocrite and my hands too used to clicking on Internet Explorer

Well I tried Sythe client the other day, the grey theme is pretty dull (I know you can change it but it's a pain for the average user, should have some preinstalled themes to select). Also the hiscores and calculators make swiftkit what it is (since swift switch).

 

I use it because everything is readily available to me. If I need an item lookup, calculator, or quest help, I can get it in a moment's notice.

 

SytheClient's already got most of these features. As for the theme, there isn't much I can work with on an MDI form but I guess people judge the book by its cover after all

 

I totally get you man, I have no problem switching all the colours and such, although think about it like this: Mac or Windows? A lot of people these days would pick a Mac simply because it's easy for the average user. Same thing goes with Swiftkit and Sythe client. The latter will simply be too difficult for people to bother setting up etc. Plus SK has been established for many years, and isn't associated with a cheating site, which could turn people off Sythe in fear of getting banned or such.

Just my two cents, don't get me wrong, I still love the client and all the effort you guys put into it!

I don't, I'm using your client Blupig <3 (or, when my java wants to work I do)

 

Layout presets would be nice too >_<
