Ancient effigies?

Its the first time I've ever gotten a starved ancient effigy so I'm sorry if I sound stupid - but since I haven't got any of the required skills to nourish one, how will the assist system benefit me if they get all the experience?

 

You get the dragonkin lamp

 

Which you can't bank, so don't fully open an effigy until you want to spend it. Gives nice exp though, actually a few of them got me 1 whole herb lvl (92-93).

You can still use the lamp to gain a good amount of xp in a skill of your choice.

 

This may sound a little dumb, but how do you even get effigies?!

 

Certain monsters drop them, it is very rare though.

 

They aren't too rare. Depending on your level you will probably get one every few hours.

My main has 35+ and some of my other accounts have 10-20 on them..
