An Nexus/IBot Admin allegedly scammed users

Hmmk well lets look at those "reasons."
Reason 1: You don't trust him. Well, for 1, most likely, 3rd parties probably already have your information. People are so ignorant of this, but I'm not going to randomly go out and assume you are just because you assume this guy's a scammer ;). That's right its not assuming, you say you have a reason. "If I pissed you off, what would stop you from using my name and adress" blah blah you know what I'm talking about. For 1, thats not apples to apples. Mark didn't get pissed off at some guy and give his information out. Mark didn't give the information out for any personal reason. I don't even think he had any gain. He gave it to people scammed, a punishment of a sort. If a hunter shoots a bear, do I assume theres nothing stopping him from shooting a human? NO, unless its Dick Cheyney.

Reason 2: Thats not even a reason, biased cluck gtfo. Anyways, "Name calling" . You mean like: "Carl Erickson: Nobody's holding a gun to your head to post here, little boy." I see i see. And finger pointing, you mean like the biased topic of this thread *cough "An Nexus/IBot Admin allegedly scammed users"*? Bullshit moves..I don't really know what you mean there. Bullshit is an inanimate substance, the only time it moves is while its constantly spewing from your mouth. No class whats so ever...wah wah wah first you bitch about name calling and then you do the closest thing to it.

Three. No one want's to buy anything for no reason. That's a waste. This is a plausible and sane reason. With money, however, comes incentive. Security, labors at least. Developers are more compelled, while as things like Rsbot could die any minute. Does that make Ibot better? No, I'd say you could go either way. Go the free route and drift with whatever way it goes, or pay a little to know its going to go somewhere with a standard of quality.

So lets use your logic for choosing why I backup nexus.

1. I don't trust you gaiz! http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=439005 someone got randomly scammed on your forum what if they do it again!

I know that was a horrible reenactment and a little too dramatized of your resaon 1, but the fact is they both make little good sense.

2. I don't like any of you. Your arguments start out good but then you have to go an bias them, and then hypocrize!! Yea I just said hypocrize becuase I can.

3.I already pretty much wrote number 3 earlier, I'm not going to repeat myself unlike you guys do and demand we do countless times.

There are other "reasons", but all of these satisfy me while only one of yours could even qualify as an argument, which is only half ok because half of that "reason" alone was an opinion. Oh god I've been typing too long I'm going to start going in circles.

You are from RSCA. The word "we" gives you away. I highlighted it in the quote. You sound a lot like Mark and haxirs. Uh oh....time to edit everything so we can call ridgeway a liar. Busted after two posts.

This is my first post here and likely to be my last. Yes I made an account here just to speak about this. In fact, I've been a supporting member of RSCA for a long time.

I won't be once my subscription expires.

RSCA cannot play by the same rules as tom jr and Carl Erickson. RSCA is held to a higher standard. If tom jr looks petty and stupid, tom jr loses nothing. If a representative of RSCA looks petty and stupid, RSCA loses customers. If the reader doesn't trust Carl Erickson, Carl is out nothing. If the reader doesn't trust RSCA, then RSCA loses potential customers. Tom jr does not have access to RSCA's database of names and addresses of customers; a database that can be resold or abused. Mark does.

You come here and act like children; you stoop to the level (or lower) of the people accusing you. The "they are worse than we are." mentality. They may be worse than you are, but I am not doing business with them. I am doing business with you---or I was. If you are a little better than they are, you can still be bad enough that I no longer want to be a customer.

I am now looking at rsbot. No they aren't as good as ibot is, but they are faster, plus their team stays out of the food fights and behaves like adults, even if some of them aren't old enough to be adults. They have some nice scripts too. I don't need to trust them with any of my private details. Oh yes: their client is free. I may get a RS ban but I will have to take that chance.

I used to speak my piece on RSCA, but I am afraid to post this over there for fear of what you might do to me. So this is my goodbye here. I see no further reason to support you and no reason to pay $80 per year when it is due.

Hmm?

I have actually stood higher than carl, and tom jr.

When I post, I post with formality, not only that, but I back up my post with plenty of evidence from various sources.

tom jr and carl do not post this way, in fact they try to use circle logic by bringing up questions that I have answered several times.

They do not back up their post with evidence instead they use their "friends"
experience to bring down RSCA.

You tell me that I act like a child? Hmm...Please tell me on what post.

Also, if you are in fear of posting in RSCA,and in fear of your personal details..you are obviously not from RSCA

Mark gave out Tom's info to only the ones who got scammed by him, so that they might be able to press charges against Tom ect...

Reading is the keyword mate.

I can get a good meal for 15 dollars, who bitches over 15 dollars. Sure, if you don't have to spend money, why spend it, but that doesn't stop women from getting useless jewelry or people spending 30 more dollars on a namebrand coffee machine. Obviously a lot of people prefer Nexus because maybe it seems a little bit better to them. Good, with all that time in the basement playing runescape, thats 15 less dollars spent on fatenning their ass up. This place isn't any better, but this isnt a topic about whats better, this is about taking 1 event at RSCA and trying to quickly as possible milk it for some sort of scandal, like when miley cyrus takes a picture with shorts on. Its two cheating communities, you guys act like you have the right to discuss morality.

This has to be by far the most valuable post on this whole thread because he's telling us exactly what we are doing; milking for some sort of scandal.

Feuds between the two forums has made everyone go off-topic.
Everyone should read this and stop arguing.

Hmm?

I have actually stood higher than carl, and tom jr.

When I post, I post with formality.

You tell me that I act like a child? Hmm...Please tell me on what post.

Do these belong to you?

Lmfao, your obviously fucking blind.

You seriously make me laugh, this comming from sythe.... LOL.

God, learn to read.
Hypocrites.
Dude, are you seriously that ignorant? or are you just acting...

Because you will be afraid of doing your scamming?

Once again, HYPOCRITE!

Why post is such as ignorant-user site?

Most of the people are ignorant, and think they are so 1337 when they are really not(Prime example would be you).

Again, stop talking shit you don't know about.

Your post are full of flaws, lies, and slander.

The fact is you don't know shit about RSCA

Are those enough examples of you acting line a child and not posting "with formality"? So don't put yourself on a pedestal here. You've acted at least as bad as we have, if not worse. You certainly haven't been a good representative of your site.

Now, let's get back to the original question.

What makes IBot worth $15 a month when the alternatives are free?

You're not going to get away with saying "it has this feature and that feature", because 99% of us don't understand all the geekspeak. We want to know why it helps us, how it beneifits us, why we're better off using it---and it can't be just a little better----it has to be made $15 better each and ever month before somebody will buy it, and all the features in the world won't get you a potential customer if that customer doesn't understand WHY those features justify forking over $15 instead of using the free bots.

Your turn to call me names and say "we already answered that, several sources say Nexus rules, blah etc. blah."

Lol, I won't lock a post because of differing opinions.

I do, however believe that no forum should pass judgment on the other, unless they are 100% scammer-free, which in my mind is impossible, since we are all human and fundamentally, are always wanting more then we need.

Unless you really are a clean community, you can't make fun or drag out in the open what happened in another.

It's sad that the OP talked about another forum, when we have and have had countless mods and highly respected members scam for money.

I don't represent Sythe. I represent me, and my opinions are my own.

You're welcome to lock the thread, and in fact, it should probably be allowed to die.

After consideration, I don't really care about the former trusted person over there scamming people, because that shit happens all the time. What I'm adamantly opposed to is the staff at RSCA giving out personal information to ANYBODY except the authorities. If somebody feels like they've been scammed, let them go to the authorities and have the law enforcement people request (or get a subpoena for) the information.

Does that seem too strict to you? I've read about people who have been beaten up, their property vandalized, and even people killed over something that happened on the internet. There are a lot of whack-jobs out there. I'm not saying it's probable that it could happen, but it certainly is possible. It's happened elsewhere. Am I overreacting? My life is precious to me: I have exactly one of them, and I don't want some potentially crazy person to have access to my personal information. Maybe 99 times out of 100, nothing happens. The hundredth time, I'm going to have problems. There's a reason that ISP's and the big companies out there refuse to give out personal information to anybody but authorized law enforcement agencies with the proper court documents. They want to cover their ass so that if something bad does happen, they aren't responsible. They KNOW from experience that bad things can happen from the internet.

So others can argue until the cows come home, but giving out somebody's name/address/whatever to private individuals is wrong on many levels, also potentially dangerous. It exposes the target to others---puts the law potentially in their hands. It lets them potentially decide what the "punishment" should be. It's flat out wrong.

This is my last post in this thread. I may (or may not if asked/told not to) start a nice civil thread about "Is IBot worth $15 a month" so that anybody who brings politics in can be dealt with. I'm not going to be convinced that giving out personal information is proper, and outside of the people from RSCA, I haven't seen anybody else support their position on that.

Thanks for your time.

Actually I can easily find out where you live by your ISP, Social engineering is very easy to accomplish on most cases.

You are posting a thread on sythe and are you are a active member of the sythe community, therefore you are representing sythe.

If you want to tell me you don't represent sythe, and not to bring sythe into this conversation, post in a community totally unrelated, however you wish not too.

about the personal info?

http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=434181&page=3

They are giving away information publicly unlike mark.

I have asked you many times to read the thread above. So that means you hate sythe too?

I suggest you take a look at yourself mate.

@Carl

Stop asking the same question over and over mate, I have answered already, if you cannot understand the technicalities then you have no reason to take place in the argument.

Geekspeak? Lol....

you are such a mis informed fucknut that it is amazing that mark would let you speak for them.

1- you cant find anything from an ip except maybe the city. you are parroting myths from the internet. social engineering...roflmao...like isps are going to tell you anything. what about proxies? what about dialups? what about routers? lol u are a rube.

2- there is no other forum to post this in. zybez...sals...tipit...all will delete it. where are you going to post it? heavygaming and their three readers? lol sythe is where your customers come from...or from all the websites who resell for higher than the $15 you want.

3- nobody is going to buy your program until they are told why they should buy it.

rsbot and scar have thousands of users each. maybe tens of thousands each. nexus pro has what? 20 who pay more than once and maybe another 100 who leech free nexus?

now go suck on marks butthole some more and post stupid things that arent true. you are a toolio.

I'm also done with this thread, since it's disintegrated into a pissing match. I'm going to the other thread, where they can't call names without being reported.

Your bot sucks.

Your admin is a dick for revealing personal information.

You haven't given anybody who isn't a programmer a reason to buy your bot (and I suspect that programmers know better than to buy it).

Now have the last word and go back to RSCA(M) and tell them how you pwned us. Then you can all cackle about how 31337 and clever you aren't.

First of all, I would like to state that I have come to represent RSCA in a civil manner. I will not be flaming sythe and/or the individuals who have voiced their opinions in this thread. I am a gmod at rsca, but I understand I will not be held to the same obligations here. All I ask for is the same in return.

Moving on, I must first ask what you have against us, tom jr. First you make this thread, then follow up with a second thread about whether nexus pro is worth the money.

Now you must understand, I do not play Runescape. I do not bot in runescape. And I am no longer developing scripts for any bot except my own.

Moving right along here, I believe our next point of discussion should be regarding Neonnight. Irony aside, I agree with you that it took us far too long to find out what was going on. He had been with us for a very long time, and had not been scamming the whole time. However, as soon as myself and fellow staff members got a series of unconfirmed reports that he had been scamming and blackmailing other users, we were able to prove it and get him banned before he could cause any more damage.

We did not sit around with the knowledge he was scamming other users, we simply did not know, and we had not been getting any reports.

RSCA is not a scamming sort of community. We will be surprised if we get more than 3 scam reports a month, sometimes we will get none for several months. So, please do not allow the actions of a single individual to blind your opinion about RSCA.

The reason we are giving out his personal info is because he was stage 3 verified. Simply enough, the reason our markets have so few scams is because everyone goes through a three-step verification system. The higher step you are on, the more likely you are to find buyers, and you must be atleast stage1 verified to sell anything in the market.

When you apply for verification, you are aware that any attempts to scam user(s) will result in the user(s) you scammed being given your personal information so that they may take appropriate actions to get their goods back. Please understand that we require extensive proof that the user was scammed by Neonnight before we give out his personal information. Simple chatlogs won't cut it.

Tom jr, you make the argument that because Neonnight scammed users means you shouldn't buy nexus pro. I for one do not see the relation what so ever. If you do not wish to purchase nexus pro, then use nexus lite or do not visit the site. It bares no relation to the current subject.

The reason individuals from RSCA have targeted "sythe" in general, and not just the users making posts on this thread, is because the users posting are the ones representing sythe, just as I am representing RSCA. Your attempts to turn it around like we shouldn't be targeting sythe are, in my opinion, an attempt to continue to try and hide the fact that sythe is notoriously known for scamming users among a number of rs cheating sites.

Now, onto a slightly different topic of interest. I am an adept client hacker, myself and a friend have built a 100% reflection bot from the base up using the same fields used in Ares. I have created a number of updaters and was a developer for xKYAB and have written a number of client hacking tutorials for RSMoneky and MITB.

The knowledge I have gained gives me the ability to enlighten sythe's users to a few things.

In common runescape cheating, there are three kinds of bots. Bytecode, Reflection and color. Color, in my opinion, is the least interesting, and I hate pascal so I absolutely hate scar. I recommend anyone using scar looks for something more suitable for their needs in java.

Moving on, reflection vs. bytecode.

Bytecode has "accessor methods" injected into the client at the updater stage before it reaches the end-user. Many believe that fact that we are actually adding methods to the client is...well...detectable. I for one, agree. RSBot and Ares, the two most popular bytecode bots since Aryan, have had the highest ban rate of any bot since aryan.

Reflection reads fields from the client at runtime. It does not inject anything into the client. While the client is running, we can use the Reflection API to read the states of all the fields within the client, and act on them as is suitable. The belief that not everything can be done via bytecode can be done in reflection is false, as many people now adays have realized.

RSBot is bytecode. Nexus is reflection. Take your pick.

Nexus lite is fully functional, it is not minimizeable. And you can minimize it via a VM.

And if you actually learned java, instead of forcing yourself to bot all the time to get your levels up in a game, you could get nexus pro for free by becoming a contributor.

As you can see, RSCA is much more active than either of the sites. SRL may have more members signed up, but we both know they are all 1 posters who just wanted SRL.

RSCA has many more active users, and much less leechers.

Nice flame, Mike. Not too well disguised though.

If you didn't advertise Ibot through several other websites, your forum probably wouldn't be as big as it is, assuming the numbers aren't manipulated

How many of your 32k users have posted in the last 30 days, 500? How many have more than 10 posts? How many users and posts are for script sales? Are script comments included in post counts? Why isn't there a prominent search function for the forums?

What's with the "we don't ban people" and then a smug blog about muting them?

How many people actually pay for Nexus and have for at least three months, 50? How many of your scripts are broken, half?

The "if you get verified then you allow us to give your address away if you scam" is hogwash. I never saw anything about that. Editing one in and fake-timestamping it won't make it true.

I know RSCA's moves. We're not as stupid as you think we are. We're not all hackers who want to learn java and thumb our noses at anybody who doesn't know it, telling them to stfu if they can't program.

You're not playing with an outsider that you can bullshit here. I've been around a while. Want my IP too like you did the thread starter here?

The cow crap your website has spread here is laughable. Anybody who believes a word of the ponitifications of the many who have come by here to laud the glory of Impsoft RSCA Nexus Ibot is a clueless nitwit who deserves to be parted with his $15 a month.

"How many of your 32k users have posted in the last 30 days, 500? How many have more than 10 posts? How many users and posts are for script sales? Are script comments included in post counts? Why isn't there a prominent search function for the forums?"
That information is far more valuably than proving we were right this whole thread to you.

"What's with the "we don't ban people" and then a smug blog about muting them?"
This is referring to flaming and spaming the forum. Letting our users stil view the site but not being able to add thier clog of crap.

"How many people actually pay for Nexus and have for at least three months, 50? How many of your scripts are broken, half?"
Again im not discussing how many authers we have. All the scripts made by the neXus team are ully functional. All the scripts made for nexus are working as long as the corresponding neXus verision is working. DO NOT confuse that with craply coded scripts that were DOA.

"The "if you get verified then you allow us to give your address away if you scam" is hogwash. I never saw anything about that. Editing one in and fake-timestamping it won't make it true."
Its not hogwash. IF you ever visted our site you would find this
'RSCA Market Verification
This is a 1 year long Certification. This provides extra security for the rest of the users. This is Stage 1 where you verify that you are infact in control of your said Paypal address. Upon completion You can apply for stage 2 of the verification.' http://www.rscheata.net/tp/index.php?action=profile;sa=subscriptions
After you complete that you have access to stage 2 which says:
'Real name:
How to pronouce it:
Phone #:
If a cell phone when you have free minutes & Time Zone:
Street Address:'
We call you for stage verification and find an online phonebook for phone to address attachement.
Then Stage 3 is where we mail you a letter with a code in it to verify address ownership.

All te details are released to the scammed users ONLY. This information is not for sale or avalible forsale. none of the user info on rsca is. We have a secondary site for that: freeibot.com

"I know RSCA's moves. We're not as stupid as you think we are. We're not all hackers who want to learn java and thumb our noses at anybody who doesn't know it, telling them to stfu if they can't program."
We are not rude to each other if they do not know java @ rsca. there is a levle of respect that we have formed and it is a nice place to hangout. Sure there are abuses but hoose are smushed out.

"You're not playing with an outsider that you can bullshit here. I've been around a while. Want my IP too like you did the thread starter here?"
HAH read the post @ rsca i never asked for that. never will. what would I even do? he technically hasnt broke any of the rules even if this was posted on RSCA.

"The cow crap your website has spread here is laughable. Anybody who believes a word of the ponitifications of the many who have come by here to laud the glory of Impsoft RSCA Nexus Ibot is a clueless nitwit who deserves to be parted with his $15 a month."
Great un-biased post.

Muting them is removing their right to free speech. They can't post unless they post something you want people to see. That's censorship. End of story.

Nothing to do with where you tell them that you can give their name and address to even scammed users. You're dodging the question.

Read the post here. The poster replied to and directed his comments to Mark[TheBank], not at you. I've read the post at rsca. Mark[TheBank] did make that post.

Is or is not Mark[TheBank] a global moderator on your site? Why is a global moderator on your site asking for somebody's IP address? What business does he have wanting the IP address? This doesn't seem like very responsible behavior to me. What's he going to do with the IP address? Some "social engineering"? Some packeting? Huh?

Great un-biased post.

About as unbiased as yours have been.

So let's do some tallying here.

You give out personal info to some people. Yes or no?

You mute people on your forum. Yes or no?

Mark[TheBank] asked for tom jrs IP. Yes or no?

You allow scripts which are broken to be sold on your site. Yes or no?

Some people would pay moeny for thoose numbers so why should I give them out to you for free.

You are right that muting removes thier free speech. Nothing is completely free we have a simple set of guidelines and if you abuse your free speech privlidge you TEMPORARY loose it.

When I call the person for S2, I tell them that thier information will be given out in the case they scam and to thoose that are scammed only. I have them agree to this via the phone call.

You give out personal info to some people. Yes or no?
Only when they scammed and to thoose that were scammed.

You mute people on your forum. Yes or no?
Yes, we have started using it instead of temp bans for people who are trollers and do not have intelligence. ie posts that are 2 works and resemenle "F you"

Mark[TheBank] asked for tom jrs IP. Yes or no?
No, Mike [TheBank] did.

You allow scripts which are broken to be sold on your site. Yes or no?
No. We actually have a verification process and our own script sales ystems which protectors the customer.

Still too often to give out personal information without a court order.

Muting is the same thing as banning, e.g. no free speech.

Mike[TheBank] is a Global Moderator on RSCA. He had no good reason to know that. Therefore, you now have two moderaors or ex moderators engaged in malicious activities.

If your scripts are verified, then why are half of them broken?

Thread over. Anything said after this is bullshit posturing by RSCA.
