Has anyone here done it before? I broke mine today and it looks hideous, and I just want to change the screen.

Also this might be outa of the ballpark, but if you could give me a quota of how much they usually repair for, that'd be awesome.

Screens have multiple layers. If your phone still works but is just cracked, then it's only the glass that needs fixing. I've seen glass be replaced for as little as $40. If you're no longer on a warranty, I'd suggest changing it yourself. Buy the glass from a retailer online and look up a Youtube video on how to do it. It's not hard.

If you have inky blotches on your screen, that means that the LED panel itself is busted. That's a more expensive fix, usually in the $90-$120 range. Again, cheapest way is to just do it yourself.

I advise you on buying new IPhone since I spent much more money on fixing my screen, I should have better bought new one..even IPhone 6! It is very costly affair. Now I have to do my homework myself, write my essay myself since I lack money and I am not able to pay for the service I receive at writing service. If $350 not a big sum of money on repair for you, then go ahead and have it repaired. I had my phone repaired and it looks like new one.

I'm assuming there is no Apple Care on it anymore?
You're honestly better off buying a new and probably more up to date iPhone. If not, there is a website called IFixIt. Maybe give them a look? Not sure on their prices though.
