I wouldn't expect them to acknowledge any short term impacts that this event will have on the economy. But there will certainly be some, such as PvM being massively devauled thanks to the darts that will be used to waste end-game content bosses. Non phase bosses will be able to be killed with one click of a button.

This would seem to be the case...especially considering they lamented about how the Silverhawk Boots were such a mistake and now they're adding 80k more of them into the game. While this evens the playing field for people without them, it also further devalues Agility, probably the hardest and rarest 99 to get in Rs3. Silverhawk Boots are the Runespan of Agility.

 

I fully gave up hope on Jagex when I believe in December of 2013 they were like, ok this year it's gonna be about you the players, and since you guys don't like all the Sof and Loyalty Programme updates that happen 1-3 times a week, we are gonna cut back and focus on other updates. *2 days later* Sof update.

 

Yup man...and it seems that there's no end in sight. This kind of content has been coming ever since May, so many promotions. I read we haven't had a month without some kind of promotion since April.

Also, I've noticed that Gold Premier club members really haven't gotten all that much content that would immediately be available to them, as was promised.

Basically, Jagex uses a group until they exhaust what they believe to be the last penny out of them. Then they focus their attention on a new/different crowd.

They don't even hide it anymore.

 

The 20b really is nothing people trade trillions of GP daily could be interesting to see if the death darts will effect anything though.

 

To this day I'm still scared of Jad so honestly if I could get a death dart to end that motherfker....I would use it.

I have to disagree, I remember when they did it especially well because I got torva platelegs. Before instakill darts torva platelegs was like 220m, 2-3 weeks after it was 160m... It literally tanked the prices of every Pvm drop.

It would be interesting to see the revenue they will pull from this.

I can imagine that an enormous ammount of new players will buy membership just to have a chance of winning 100m, let alone the other rewards.

I am actually looking forward to this seems like it would be the perfect way to end what's actually been a pretty good season.

 

Jagex cares about the economy but they're just ruining it more by giving out a ton of gold.

Did anyone enter into the Raffle for GP today? I'm only gonna be going for darts.

 

Anyone know the best ways go get tickets? So far all i know is the daily 1 plus daily challenges, and mod stamping ones.

You can only get 2 tickets a day, and there are 3 possible ways. 1 is talk to Balthasar near Burthorpe Lodestone. Then you can get the second raffle ticket one of two ways: 1. Go to a Jmod event where they'll give you one or much less tedious + lag-free: Do a daily challenge to get one.

However, you can't do a Daily and the J-Mod thing. You max out at 2 a day. You can use as many tickets as you want though for raffles.

 

I'm going to be entering just two tickets everyday instead of saving up because heck if I get something great but if I don't I won't lose any sleep over it!

 

Wait so is this some giveaway raffle thing jagex is implementing? Can someone please explain? Im confused o.o
