Detailed description of the events that took place and why you think we should forgive you: I was scammed almost $300 and I took matters into my own hands. I contacted the said family members after asking for explicit consent from the “victim” to do so. I after receiving partial of the agreed repayment amount, I replied back to the family members letting them know everything was resolved.
My intentions were never to be malicious nor did they ever become malicious. My goal was to retrieve/recover any of the money that I could by extending my reach and by contacting the family members of said user after consent to do so.
I would like to apologize for any embarrassment that may have caused you @lev518 but you must understand that someone’s lively hood, business, and finances were at stake, especially when you and your friend told me it was my fault.
I believe there should be staff should recheck the rules of Sythe, and either add on or explicitly state that their is 0 tolerations to contacting someone’s family, even if you’re a victim of a scam, and or asked for consent before hand.
I would never have broken a Sythe rule like this “one” if it was explicitly clear that under no circumstances was this allowed.
