Do you want to protect users from getting scammed by such a little requirement?

People that join the day they sell their account have only 1 thing to do here and that is scamming, lets be honest lol

 

That's not true. I'll admit I bought my very first account here and it was recovered the day after. I chargebacked on PayPal and everything was ok. The next account I bought was from @iMarkS who like you say, was new and had the only intention of selling the account. I've had it for 3 months now and only one issue which was a fault of mine. So not EVERYONE is bad, and it would really limit the free market structure we have. There are many, many stickies warning buyers to be safe, and that is enough imo.

 

95% recoveres if they are new, end of story, stickis dont help ppl dont read that shit.

 

And you know everything about people who don't read the stickies right? Even then, people aren't dumb and DO know about recoveries.

 

No one reads them, and not because they ''know'' it should be ok, u want to protect ur users from getting scammed lol

 

Ok Sythe is a free market like I stated above, this is why people like it, cuz there are no rules against people requiring post count or whatever. And in the end, postcount will promote spamming, someone can donate 5$, and 2 weeks isn't that long. How does this stop scamming lol? New users prob get 50 postcount or near it and 2 weeks by bumping their threads and can easily donate 5$.

 

This stops scamming by a bit, not overall. you do anything to help atleast a little bit.

someone that joins just to scam wouldnt come here and donate 5$ with the risk of the account NOT being sold due to no vouches n such or they dont want to get postcount to sell their acc coz no trusted. think plz now ty

 

Then literally 90% of accounts will be taken offline and account section will be dead. Your assuming that EVERYONE is a scammer and that NO ONE knows what PayPal is and that they can chargeback.

Lol I am thinking, and so are the people who buy accounts. You assume we all are dumb and that we need this to save us. Most people do have PayPal so better that they attempt to get a good account then limit honest sellers. Your also assuming that everyone pretty much is a scammer. I'm willing to bet that for 95% of scammers in section, there are 95% of people who have PayPal. Like my example, I got lucky with an honest seller, and everyone should have that chance too.

 

No just no no no, just because you got lucky doesnt mean everyone else is.
im sure only 30-40% maybe have paypal and most account sellers that are new only accept rsgp.

when i joined sythe i had the sole purpose of selling my 07 acc and this suggestion would have made it extremely difficult as i didn't see myself staying here long enough to donate or even get involved with the community

 

Not only what sneaky said, but we'd be operating under the assumption that post-count and donator status (5$ lol) are an indicator of how trust worthy a user is. If anything, that'll just make even less users read the stickies and take necessary precautions and sell to the first donator they see.

 

We are a free market.

We will not be limiting peoples abilities to use the forums. People can use their own judgement when trading.
