    AlertPay versus PayPal.

Ok, personally, I've had bad experiences with PayPal and a half dozen accounts limited, so I stopped using them. I then moved on to AlertPay, and haven't had any problems with anything. AlertPay is the only method I accept now for selling gp, and I find that it works quite nicely. To me, it's a lot safer, however, I don't know on paper how true that really is.

On AlertPay, you must get two micro deposits to verify your credit card before you can use it (PayPal does the same thing to my knowledge). The one thing that PayPal doesn't have though, is a second verification that it really is the owner of the account sending the money. You need to enter a PIN number before you can send or withdraw any money along with being logged in. I think it definitely proves/helps your case if they ever tried to get it back, because it's not likely someone would have your password and PIN.

Anyways, my question: can people charge back just as easily via AlertPay as they can PayPal? And, are most of the reversals on PayPal due to people opening an unauthorized claim, or do most people go straight to their credit card company and request a charge back that way? AlertPay doesn't really have any of the claim and cancel nonsense, so it's one less way to get screwed out of your money. But, to my knowledge, anyone can call up their credit card company and say they want to dispute a charge, can they not?

In the end, I think AlertPay is indeed safer because you don't have to worry about people opening up disputes with you, but that wouldn't stop a really determined person from disputing a charge on their bill directly with their credit card company.

I know a lot of people are starting to use them now a days, but my question is still about which one do people believe is safer.
