AK-47 of M4A1?

I prefer the AK for sure. Opinions?

 

How about you back this post up with some reasoning before I infract you for spam?


I like both equally. The AK has great penetration and stopping power, combined with the 1 tap headshots makes it a beast to be reckoned with.

However, due to the tighter and more predictable spray pattern of the m4a1 (which FYI is the silenced one. The m4a4 is the unsilenced) it is fantastic for controlled sprays when engaging a couple enemies (obviously magazine size is a factor here, however)

Ultimately, all three (I'm including the A4 as well) have their uses and
I don't explicitly favor any one over the others.

I wanted to hear people's opinions first, before going into detail. The reason I like the AK is mostly because i've spent countless hours studying the pattern and I've gotten to the point where I can rush people (at the LE level) with the AK and win trades. The M4 unsilenced is much easier for me to use than the silenced M4, mostly because of the clip size, i hate feeling numbered by 60 bullets.

 

I prefer the M4A1-S mainly because I enjoy going in all sneaky-beaky like

 

You didn't upset me, I just dislike when people try to start a discussion or ask for opinions without even offering their own take on the subject.

 

I love the ak47 for that beastness of smashing them from a good distance, however as been a new player it is hard for me to keep focusing on controlling the spray pattern (never had this issue with cod) but that makes this game so enjoyable.

I switch from time to time. If I have played with silencer on for a few weeks I feel like I want to switch. It's like after some time I get worse and need to change to get better.
I got the same thing with using awp / ak. But that more switches from game to game than time to time.

I don't know if what I wrote makes any sense

I pref M4a1-s, much more easier to use and you can hold down the mouse compared to tapping on the mouse when using the AK.

 

I said the M4A1-S, but after playing more I definitely prefer the AK.

It just feels better and seems to kill much more easily

 

Always go for the AK, like n4n0 said the 1 tap and its penetration power is why it's the best choice in CS:GO

As a player who has spent 1000+ hours in-game, my opinions switched as I improved, and now it is hands down the AK47. It is the best rifle due to its simple spray pattern, damage, and munitions capacity. It is also the most versatile given the dead accurate first couple of shots. I've outgunned many an awper down dust2 long and mirage mid. If you set up a crosshair that helps you aim better, popping a tango's skull is small beans. Being able to not worry about running down your ammo as with the M1 (my preferred CT rifle) is so relieving in an extended gunfight. I've gotten several thousand kills, several hundred clutches, and several aces with an AK and can say with no reservations that is my favorite weapon ingame. I'd rather take an AK over an AWP because of how easy it is to use.

As for the M1, it's incredibly easy to double dink people and spray down enemies, and the mag size isn't an issue if you have decent aim. I got a triple headshot feed with one magazine in a casual match a couple of days ago with it and the posers who use the AWP like they are a modern day Vassily Zaitsev are so easy to smash the faces of with a well placed flashbang and good aim.
