Airsoft experience?

Am an avid airsofter, like paintball but more realistic guns and plastic pallets as opposed to paint. Kind want to see who on sythe has messed around with them? Thoughts and experiences

 

I play at a couple fields around California, mostly at a large woods area in Modesto, Cali.

When I was young I used to think that the little plastic toy plinkers from Walmart were the coolest thing, but as I grew older I got more and more interested in the big boy toys.

Right now I have a G&P M4A1 w/ the Navy Seal engraving, she's my baby, and for my sidearm I have a KWA MK23.

I rock a Navy-Seal inspired outfit while i'm playing, but it's always so damn hot out here so it gets uncomfortable at times.

 

Fuck ya dude, I'm trying to rock an m60 veitnam layout when I grrrr the money, thinking about being stupid awsome amd getting ras system with acog and m203 gernade launcher on it, I play way down here in washington.

 

I used to play airsoft with my friends never really got too much into it. I've since upgraded to BB guns and we shoot each other with those.

 

Hi, sadly, I can't really tell you anything about it because in my country, the laws are really strict. Guns are not allowed at all and airsoft guns are not allowed aswell. It's been a dream for me to actually be able to use an airsoft gun. My favourite kinds are the ones with the CO2 blowback. It looks really cool when you pull the trigger. It gives that cinematic look. Thanks for giving me a chance to express my thoughts and allowing for open discussion.

 

I've played a few times at my local paintball field and it is something that I honestly have no idea how people can get into. It seems to me people get more carried away with the whole milsim aspect of it, instead of focusing on having a fun experience. I could not tell weather or not I was being shot, and most of the time I called myself out due to the fact that I had people screaming at me telling me that they hit me.

I much prefer paintball, both speedball and woodsball to airsoft.

 

I have an M57A L96A1 Airsoft Sniper Rifle but unfortunately never gotten the chance to use it at an airsoft event i just mess around with it in my garden or with some mates at open fields, would love to though!

 

well this weekend will be my first time going. Ill update you on it. I used to love going paintballin but it got to be to much money ect... airsoft is mad cheap from what i was told. 20 bucks to rent a gun 10 bucks for as many pellets as you want and 5 to play on their fields all day.

 

I have a crosman c11 pistol. I Just go outside with it when I get bored.

 

Airsoft is really fun, but I think paintball is more fun just cause of the risk of actually being hurt. Airsoft barely hurts, but paintball can be painful as fuck. My entire fingernail got shot off one time playing paintball, was crazy

 

Definatly a cheap way to go, gun is expensive but with 10,000 bbs costing 25 bucks, who can complain? sorry really havent gotten back to this thread! finally got internet at my place so im back.

And P.S, if you want to feel pain, just do what I do, wear a thin shirt and shorts. Ill admit airsoft is a kinda sport that does not hurt as much, well it does when your gettin hit in the head with a sniper 500 fps round, lotta blood when that happens, but id rather walk away with little or no welts then bit fucking snoball sized ones any day. And it is a LOT less messy, I mean like no mess at all, with the bio bbs and such, good for the environment as well.

 

My buddies from work wanted to start this, but we never did, we are still talking about it, but never actually made a move yet. I would like to though.

 

If youd like to, definatly visit airsoftgi (google it) very cheap and reliable.

 

I used to play with friends, but there is no serious airsoft around where i live, so i don't really play anymore but i used to have a L96 and i miss having it. I'v not yet played paintball but i like the idea of airsoft more than paintball.

how long have you been playing?

 

I have a friend that has that same setup watch out for the launcher he bought whatever the "best" one is got it and the air nozzle on the granade cartridge blew out.

as for me i havent messed with these in years but I use to have a m16 model an ak47 model and a couple of uzi's

For paintball it would probably have to be a lot of welts, I love both of them.

 

never played real airsoft before like with real teams and stuff

but played with a couple friends before in a forest area and its pretty fun imo

pain from getting shot doesnt last as long as paintball does (even though ive been too pussy to play again after getting hit the first time lol)

 

My buddy's like an airsoft enthusiast. I went to his house one day and grabbed a bottle of his dad's wine and ran down the street in kind of a mouse-chase-cat tease. Once I turn around, he snipes me in the lip from 100 yards away. Hurt like crazy. All swollen up, too, haha

 

I use to have a few crappy air soft guns from Walmart I rember shooting them out in my back yard at some home made targets. For the most part I rember my friend shooting one at my and the BB going up my nose lol.
