ahk pking?

saw a thread on someone selling ahk scripts for pking. Was curious if anyone that pks with AHK has been banned before? personal stories, etc?

 

I've participated in PvP using something similar to AHK for my special attacks/switches, never had an issue with bans.

the only way to get banned for ahk or auto clicking is if you get reported a lot. There isnt a way for jagex to automatically detect stuff like that and know for certain without player reports.

You don't have any idea what you're talking about. I write scripts for OSRS. You think Jagex can't detect unnatural clicks? You must be insane.

 

Yeah, ii have a feeling they can. Only if there was a way to slow down mouse speeds a bit in AHK or auto switchers

 

That was said sarcastically, right? But yeah, they are configurable.
ANother Problem is the movement of mouse in AHK. It always moves in straight lines.

 

I've been using a G-Maul 2x Spec AHK for a while now and no bans. As mentioned by @g3rb3rlife, he's right to some extent. I do believe most bans unrelated to macro clients/scripts are heavily community influenced. You can literally autoclick alchs for 6 hours w/ garyshood and not be detected unless you've been reported.

 

Yup. I run a bot daily in instanced NMZ 16 hours per session and no ban so far because no one can report you

 

I don't think the report system has the biggest impact when you're getting banned by the bot detection system, surely it can't help but I doubt it plays a major role in it.

 

I would never ahk on any account you care about , its detected due to the mouse move and clicks and coords it clicks everytime . you often get a delayed ban with these.

 

Let me stop all of you in your tracks besides boogzey. Ive ahk pked for years, you will never catch a ban for using AHK while Pking. Now i can see some of you are thinking of a different sort of ahk. Such as maybe alching? or making darts? Yeah Those might get you banned , but Specifically “AHK PKING” will not . Its very undetectable.

 

In addition, ahk isnt using any other client, it only controls your mouse movement. And when you ahk pking, the amount of times you use the ahk is minuscule, with in miliseconds. You’re not constantly repeating a same action.

 

@Teconix Agreed. AHK PKing will not get you banned, ever. Period.

 

if you use a bot client, you will get detected. if you use a bot that works within the runelite/osrs/osbuddy client (like an ahk script or auto clicker) there is 0% chance that you will be picked up and banned by automatic macro detection. That said, if a suspicious jagex employee decides to investigate your account, due to player reports or whatever, they CAN detect if you are using ahk or an auto clicker based on your clicks.
