After 7 years of not playing

All I wanted when I was 16 was a car and a phone. Now I have them and I'm still mildly dissatisfied. The answer is to be happy with what you do have and being present and maximizing every experience while you can. I remember when I was 18 I met a 23 year old and thought to myself… "One day eventually, I'll be his age." Well, it happened I'm 23 and now I'm saying this to 18 year olds, then it's going to happen to them and I'll be almost 30 and the other guy will be mid 30s. But being this age is pretty amazing. If you're younger than me you need to realize there are things you could be doing that will be impossible when you are older. Life doesn't get easier after 18, it gets harder and harder UNTIL YOU DIE. Do whatever you are capable of now so at least you know you tried unlike most who end up dying unfulfilled. Right now I don't care if I blow my life savings doing something ridiculous because nothing even matters. As long as I don't get into debt I'm fine. Life is more exciting on the fringes of society. All that I care about is family, friends and food.

What are you doing with your life?

 

At the moment I'm on College accumulating debt. I'll be finished 2 years from now. After I've obtained my conjoint degree (Law and Commerce) I'll find a job, and work for the rest of my utterly boring life.

 

College as well with debts. Paying of my debts by selling Runescape gold. Using my innovative ways to acquire gold because I don't buy them off people. So far sold almost 15B.

 

I'm extremely busy procrastinating away at websites like these and games like runescape. it's REALLY gonna screw me over in the future but it's kinda become a habit. Kids! don't take the path I've chosen!

 

School, school and more school.

 

Sadly I'm in the same path as you're on... but i'm slowly trying to wean!

 

Like J Cole says OP, "Think being broke was better". Money can bring a lot of good but it can also bring a lot of bad both in having and in the absence of it, it's difficult that we're so reliant on it but there really isn't a viable alternative.

It's never too late to change fam

That's what I'm currently in the process of. Not hopping on skype, cutting down subs on reddit etc that I'm part of... The opportunity cost of time spent is too high. You gotta enjoy your time but also progress.

live is scary , but u got stand up for it , hard work in what matter in this age.

Try to find the correct balance, it's hard but it's possible. I am currently active a lot on Rs & sorta ish on Sythe and college is going decent for now

It's okay to struggle with a balance, people struggle their whole lives in terms of finding the right balance of school / work / family / leisure / relaxation etc.

As long as you don't let any one thing consume all of your time, and everything you HAVE to get done is being accomplished, you're doing just fine.

its also important to note here to do what you love, im sure most of you know Tony, a ederly RS3 streamer, do you think he cares about the fact that he plays alot of runescape a day?

 

Just to piggy back off toast keep everything in moderation and remember to prioritize. Just don't prioritize runescape xD

Right. I'd like to add that I took a break from college for a few years and lost access to social circles, momentum is something very important, I learned to finish what I started in one try. It's hard to build that up again from nothing.

I hate it a little. We are on this planet for the economy. We do nothing but work. after work and you have a little freetime. Its like this: to work from work to work from work to work from work every day. and then you have 20 days of vacation in one year here in belgium.thats live
