Did Jagex ever release the rare names list?

I'm sure they said they would release the list of names the next day..not seemed to be out yet?

 

They have a list on the run escape site you can download it's a huge list though

 

i have the downloaded the lists and the majority are bullshit. All the "Rare names" where either sniped by bots *COUGH* FOLT, TAYLOR *COUGH* or taken by lucky people.

i mean the list is a joke honestly



who in the literal fuck would even be interested in using shit like this.

 

Well if they're gonna clear out names they may as well do them all or the majority.

 

They didn't say they were releasing rare names. They said they were doing a display name cleanup. Hope this helps clarify it for you

 

Stop trying to act like a smart-arse. They advertised the release as unlocking usernames that are wanted and post numerous times on the website on how "try to get the name you always wanted blah blah blah".

Fact is 85-90% of all the rare names (because you try call me out on statistics, it's a guesstimate.) are sniped by Hoarding name sellers like Folt & Taylor which use bots to snipe names from everyone, leaving legitimate players with fuck all.

Think about a decent response "hackalogue" (joke of a name honestly).

 

Folt actually took barely any names atall lol, bots where prevented from working, thats why the rs name change page on the homepage said 404 error, it was anti bot protection. the decent names that where released where taken by active players. not hoarders, everyone had a pretty equal chance. As for Taylor i've never spoken to him so idk what he got
