Advice on Tank progression

Currently working on maxing out my Zerk and getting my tanks lvls up.

I'm at somewhat of an impasse though, I have had a maxed tank before
-99 def range mage 70 att 70 str-
And although I love this account build, it's restricting as far as hybriding goes. Sure I can mage and range, but that's obviously very predictable.

So I was planning on going a different route -
Instead of doing 70 att 70 str, I was going to go 99 str with 60 att, same preset for defence/range/mage
This would put my acc @ 107cb, which is the same (one lvl cb difference) as doing 70 att 70 str

Obviously the only difference is I would be able to brid with dds/melee gear on the tank, so he'd be like a 99 defence barrows pure/ 99 str range tank.

Doing this would however; make him melee based vs Range based.

I am curious what you're guys' opinions are.

Do you think I should pursue this type of build or just go regular range tank?

60/99 should definitely be more than one combat level higher than 70/70. Are you sure you calculated this correctly?

My personal recommendation would be to get 75 attack/70 strength and not go melee based but still have access to stuff like godswords, sotd, etc. 60 attack is too inaccurate to be fighting with at that high of a combat level imo. I thought this too, but I have calculated it out on like 10 different calculator websites, its all coming back 107cb.
60 is kinda inaccurate, but I would only be using the melee for briding - dds/maul specs. So I would utilizing specs on people in robes (mage gear) - I know the specs with hit through that.

I am interested to see if these caculations are accurate though because I was thinking the same thing as you initially. Any website you recommend I go to for proper calcs?
