    Advertising Costs?
    Not really sure what forum this should go in but,

    I am wanting to advertise my website by paying someone on youtube to mention my site in their video.

    My question is how much should I pay per 1,000 views?

    Advertising Costs?
    No more than 3 dollars. Youtube pays partners less than 3$ per a thousand views and the guy would surely be making a fool out of you if you paid that much. And if it is just a mere "mention" then I'd say under a dollar easily.

    Advertising Costs?
    Are you sure that's the best way to advertise? Do you know someone who will advertise your site, and will the people watching it be interested in your site?

    Google is offering $75 worth of free advertising here:
    https://services.google.com/fb/forms/adwordscoupon/

    That would be a good place to start.
