His main goal was to get lebensraum, living room for the Germans. And there are many speculations on why he decided to attack Russia. They had an uneasy alliance much like what happened before World War 1. But the most common theory to why Hitler did it was he needed fuel to fuel his war machine.

It makes sense because a jackass is not someone who is dumb but someone who is stupid. And no one is perfect in any matter whatsoever.

Because he wasn't right, he wasn't smart? Adolf Hitler was insane and mental, but he was indeed a genius. Could someone any standard lower than a genius run such well-powered acts to his advantage? Did his intelligence of war strategies and tactics lead him to lose a war fought within the first 2 hours? No. You've named great men. Right men. Hitlers acts were atrocious. Unspeakable to even the widest and most devious minds .. but he was nevertheless a powerful, intelligent man. [:

 

Yes, he was. Both a genius and insane. And those other men are genius' but genius can be for many different aspects.

Why ban him when he was listing his opinion and like he said, his "facts".

Well, it was partly a joke, but if you want a serious answer, I'd probably have forumbanned him for 1 day for spamming and lack of a contributing point to the overall discussion of that topic, however on the same logic, I'd forumban myself.

Back on topic, Hitler wasn't exactly a genius in the sense that Albert Einstein was a genius, rather he was charismatic and knew how to play people to his advantage.

 

So being both insane and a genius does not make him an insane genius? Much like a mad scientist .. except .. different. As you said .. Genius' can be for many different aspects. [:

And there in lies the reason for him being smart. His ability to see what the people wanted and use it to his very own advantage.

I did not say that he isn't an insane genius...He could have been for all we know. And for the genius being in different aspects..
Say that you and your friends just found a loophole or a cheat in a game!
Wouldn't you guy call yourselves geniuses? Genius in my thinking is someone who or people who thought of something original for their own or other people's gain, wisdomwise and materialwise. I can give another example, maybe someone just found out the best way to do something your interested in,wouldn't he be labeled as a "genius" too by those who are interested in what he just found?

 

I suppose you're right .. So you're saying that Hitler was in another classification and category of genius, different from those like Albert Einstein?

 

I would say they are both genius' in their own right but different in the sense that Hitler was smart about using people's feelings, and Einstein was a genius for figuring out mathematical stuff and what-not.

I don't see what genius you see in this man. Geniuses would not spend the time nor money trying to exterminate useless people. He merely had some war strategies, which weren't even that great, considering he lost!(attacking russia before the winter- failed).

 

Lol there was a show on SBS trying to justify the actions of Hitler. One of them was that he did all those horrible things to the Jews, so the world would see how bad off they were and would do something about it.

And apparently it worked, they now of their own country, according to this historian, because of Hitler.

 

If you looked at it in an unbiased way, he was a genius for finding that way to get the German people all hyper.

i am not a fan of adolf hitler, him and his army brang great harm to my family in europe, such as destroying and ruining there homes.

We are currently learning about Hitler in history, but i have done some research on him since about the 8th grade. He is a genius. Anyone that can make people think one way, and one way only is not only good, but a gifted person.

few things about Hitler, he killed 3m+ Jews, but some of his architecture designs were amazing so as autobahn or however u say it. alot of stuff he created had already been created he just modified it. He was a wicked man regardless, but Benito Mussolini killed 33mil of his OWN people.

 

i dont think he was a genius or anything. i think he was a man that had a rough childhood and for some reason thought jews were the problem. i think he had mental problems because if u think about all the stuff he did like labour camps and gas chambers he had a sick mind and just thought of things that could rot people to death.
