Verified Service Provider rank and subsection.

Based off the last 2 years on here I've seen people come and go. Thousands of scam reports , tons of successful providers and those who could care less about their client. This being said giving possible clients the best outcome should not only be a providers goal, whether they sell gp, memberships, accounts, services, or anything that is dealing with a client. Yet it should be the forum itself that makes an effort to show possible users those who have done well to make sure others have been satisfied.

I think a verified Service Provider Rank and a sub section dedicated to those users should be opened up. It would allow users who want to try new members the option while also giving those who want something more stable a way to find it.

This wouldn't reduce the "free market" mindset of the site while still putting into perspective for the community what their options really are instead of just randomly choosing. It would also help return clients and users to trust the site.


IE 1 year no DNT/Ban + 100+ vouches in the rank they are applying?

Would love some ideas.

Based on the feedback on anyones vouch thread you can tell if you want to deal with them or not.
The threads title/vouch thread is enough to let others know about your trustworthiness on this site.
I think the suggestion is useless in this form, however i would like to see a "Best gold seller", "Best OSRS service provider" etc. in the Sythe awards vote.

 

The point is to have a separate section than the mass amount of posts from random scammers who start threads daily, and vouches are kinda pointless considering you cant get a negative vouch.

I think best gold seller and service provider is a cool idea too.

Will sythe.org be liable if any of verified service providers will scam ? If yes then i will drop support if no then no support.

 

Is Sythe.org responsible for the thousands of scammers over the last 2 years? Nope? Was Sythe.org responsible for the verified MM scams? Nope.. Is Sythe.org responsible if you rent a banner space and scam someone? Nope...

You guys are taking it out of context, its simple a separate section or even a rank that could allow new/old users the ability to see a stable vendor.

This would help the RAS section and save moderators tons of time as well help people return to the site instead of getting scammed for whatever amount they got scammed for then never come back.

Sythe will never be directly responsible for any sort of scams so any "verified" rank just gives a false sense of security, its much better for people to do their own research.

What you are proposing is very similar to the SVU (Sythe verified user) rank we used to have. Our removal of SVUs, and later OMMs, is a step in the direction of "let the markets decide," and we won't be implementing this. Thanks for the suggestion though @Yellow_Hat_OSRS_Services
