Add a pot for good cause

Dear Sythe,

We should have the owners of sythe/admins keep track of a paypal/bitcoin adress where people can send money to which'll be donated to a good cause we will pick every month together,

This would keep Sythe closer together and help people out who need it harder.

Some people who are 500$ donators, who dont need a higher rank and some times have pocket change would donate to this and this would help out sythe becom bigger, and us helping good causes.

 

If people want to donate to a “good cause” they can. They don’t need a middleman to do so. No support seems pointless

 

@ipker10 is trying to make the point that the community should go together and willingly donate to a charity, I think it is a good idea, and not very hard for an admin to do once a month... support.

 

Its a good idea to an extent.

Correct me if I misunderstood, but this would be something for just people with higher donator ranks and completely ’anonymous’?

I’m not sure if that many people without donator ranks would use this seeing as they’d probably benefit more by donating through the user center and getting the donator ranks, so it could be left unused, atleast for the majority of the community.

What comes to bringing the community closer together is something that would be good though, but not sure if that would be the way to do it.

 

I support this only under the case that the money gets randomly raffled away or a giveaway . . . Something along those lines.

 

Honestly, I’d go one step at a time and do something for community repayment or events. Most people that would donate would be people with an established business. I think it’d be better rep for them to donate to our community than a charity that is picked by the staff. If they want to donate to charity by all means go for it but I don’t see it somehing suitable for Sythe.

 

This is for anyone, and you can choose to stay anonymous and not and we'll have like a top 10 donators to this charity etc
