Market tools above the market

So I recommended this in another thread and nothing happened. If market tools were to appear above the markets it could help educate users about the safe practices available while trading before users jump into the market. Even a section which contains a database of all the useful trading stickies, subsection with redirect to middleman forums, price checks, vouches, and RaSC could help cut down on some of the scams that occur.

Right now our market tools looks like this:

, and is found below the actual market.

I'm suggesting something like this:

Safe Trading Section
-Stickies with trading tips, benefits of using a middleman stickies, reporting a scammer stickies, etc.
Subsections
-Redirect to Middleman forums
-Redirect to Price Checks
-Redirect to Vouches
-Redirect to RaSC
Markets

This wouldn't remove the actual market tools found below but rather allow users to learn more about the resources available before jumping into the market. This is just a template and is open to modification, just wanted to start this thread since the other one has seemed to have come to a stop.

 

Just to keep market near the top as a magnet for new members, even one lone section called something like "Trading tips and guides for the market section" between Community & Market with

within that

 

I like that idea

 

Support; Roary has mentioned this in his redesign ages ago, and I think it makes perfect sense to do in some form

 

Why not make it one of those weird buttons at the top too?

The sites layout needs a small revamp

 

I entirely agree with this, making safe trading more of a priority is never a bad thing. I know personally I've had trouble finding the middleman forums in the past.
General information and guides which new users can use to protect themselves would be awesome to have in an easy to see place.

Perhaps after registering an automated PM could direct new users to the section as well and suggest they take a look at it.

 

Support, Imo it would definitely make the website safer

 

Could be useful or even being placed within faqs. Sythe is one of the only places I've seen with such good resources for staying safe while trading but its in so many different places that they are too often overlooked.

 

The FAQ was a great success in bringing together a lot of knowledge and we could definitely do more and make it more visible. I really wish we could get a PMing feature because that would be super helpful.

 

I know a lot of work has been put in by a lot of members on trading safely, it would be nice to have a section for that
