Acquiring anonymous bitcoins

I'm not sure if we can discuss "illegal" activity on here so mods feel free to delete this thread if it violates any terms.

I'm basically looking to buy a small amount of BTC via a Bank Account or PayPal on an exchange. Now these BTC would be intended to buy some drugs for personal use but I'm assuming I would leave a trail to my identity, is there any way to avoid this?

BTC is used as an untraceable currency.. You could've told us they were for a bike, but now that you said all this stuff, you ratted yourself out >_>

Not in this context it's not. You could've probably made this thread without mentioning drugs, just needed to word it better.
