    Acne Help

I dont have terrible acne, honestly lol. But it's annoying. What are the best ways to get rid of it?

I wash my face twice a day.

Also, can anyone answer these 2 questions?

    1. Does grease cause acne?

    2. Does long hair on your forehead cause acne?

    Thanks.

    1. From personal experience I would say yes. I can't guarantee this though.

    2. I'm 99% positive that yes (from personal experience once again). The hair doesn't let the forehead "breath" and it causes acne.

Also there are quite a few lotions that greatly reduce acne (I use Mary Kay Anti-Acne Set and it works perfectly but there should be some who are cheaper and work as well as this one), sleeping with a clean towel over your pillow also helps a lot (I know this sounds stupid, but believe me, it does help a lot). Another thing, if you can do it, is always clean yourself with a fresh clean towel, after bath and washing the face.

    Hope I could help :D

I have long hair over my forehead and have acne there. My advice to you is to just wash your face like you're currently doing and try to use some acne treatment supplies like pro-active etc. I'm sure you can pick this up and any local drug store/grocery store.

Whatever you do, do not buy proactive. It works for like 5% of people who use it, and it's pretty exspensive.
Since your acne is mild, I'd just recommend a decent Shishedo ( http://www.us.shiseido.com/sc/product/view.asp?S=10390 ) or CeraVe( http://www.cerave.com/cleanser.htm )cleanser. I have used both of those and can vouch for their effectiveness.

Since it sounds like you have long hair you should wear some sort of headband when you sleep to keep the oils from your hair off you forehead.

i know it sounds weird but it does help.

Greasy hair can cause acne, so wash your hair, especially after using hair products, because it blocks your pores and let the acne develop.

Just use facial scrubs often, you need to clear your skin.

Watch what you eat, drink lots of water and try not to touch your face. From my personal experience with fighting acne, I'd say use ProActiv, even if your skin isn't that bad, it's like magic; and keeps your acne from returning. Until you stop using it, once you've used proactiv, then stop your face is fucked. Its like crack for your skin, and your face will have withdrawals.

    Acne Help

I have pretty long hair and I've always had acne on my forehead and face because of the grease. it has cleared up within the last years for some reason, even though i have long hair still.

I wash my face once a day when i take a shower with Biore something.. \link

I also wash and scrub my hair every day to help cut down on the grease, which a lot of people don't do. i usually use like Axe shampoo or whatever the fuck for my hair and some of that cheap ass Suave conditioner...it worrks for me though

If you have PE at school, bring liquid soap with you and wash your face. If you can't bring soap, just rinse your face with water. I would say cut down on greasy food. Just wash your hair thoroughly if you have long hair.

Drinking green tea daily seems to help with skin problems.

Long hair on your forehead doesn't cause acne, ignore these idiots. Long GREASY hair will though. Make sure you wash your hair regularly and keep your face clean.

If you want to control acne I've found the best way is just to keep your personal hygiene standards high, eat and drink healthy, get a sufficient amount of sleep every night and keep stress-free about it. I wouldn't bother investing your money in to any acne treatment products, often they wont work and when they do alot of the time they have a placebo effect on users.

It can get very annoying but keep your head held high and dont let it consume you...
