Account upgrades? What?

I'm sorry, I know this is pretty nooby to ask, but I havn't been active in 2 months since school started back up. What is an account upgrade? I understand there is a sticky about it in that forum section, but I still do not completely get what they are.

"A trusted member puts membership on the account" just sounds like what I always did when I bought a pin; he or she would put the pin on for me so that I can't make a false claim that the pin was bogus. Please verify if you can, or I'll take a mark on my account here if it's deserved. =|

You're correct,only the trusted member can put an upgrade on the account now.

 

I'm confused as well about this... Because if you use teamviewer and buy a pin and have them do it that way it's completely safe... So what exactly are upgrades?

 

It's the same thing, you're just getting a "trusted" person to apply it on your account or they can do it via teamviewer, whichever seems best for you.

 

It's basically giving a trusted member your account info to make it members. Pin sales were removed because most of the pins were coming from illegal *******s. This way sythe can not be held accountable for any misconduct.
