Account Selling Question

I was thinking about selling one of my accounts but what exactly is a "recovery test?" How is this done and why?

Also I have bought and sold accounts a couple times. I was wondering what the chances where on someone that sold me an account like 4-6 months ago would be able to recover it back. Everything has been changed on it. Email, recoveries, payment type. Is it still possible for him to get it back?

It is possible to reclaim any account at any time. A recovery test means that someone uses the information you provide them to try and reset the password using the stolen password recovery system. If the information is good enough, then the password will reset. Otherwise, it will be rejected

 

A recovery test is when you give a MM/Omm your first password, second password and current password, to try and change the password and see if it works.

If it has recovery's set you will have to give them too i think.
There is a chance that they would recover it, but if you bought it from a trusted seller you will be fine.

The recovery test is done because they buyer wants to be safe, and mm/omm wants to make the trade safe, so no one gets scammed.
