    Account recovery for Ice Wave

    Hi,

I created an account called "ice wave" a long time ago when I was decently active in the Runescape community, although I got busy with real life and stopped playing Runescape for awhile.

I've already made a post about recovering my account but it seems to not have worked because I don't have the sufficient info for the account. The thing is though, I believe it was changed by the person who hacked it during my inactivity.

    Here's some info:
    -Username: Ice Wave
-New Email: Apparently it is "s******8@y****.com", although the original one should be [email protected]
    -Skype: theboomxklutch

I'm guessing my account got hacked as a result of using this forum name and password on other sites that ended up getting leaked in the past. The hijacker has also enabled 2FA which I had no idea of ( since I was inactive when this feature came out).

If you need anymore info you can check original IP's and hopefully they'll both be the same region (same city, just moved houses).

If there is any additional info needed feel free to ask.

    Thanks

EDIT: Also, on my first ever post I linked my skype "theboomxklutch", which i still have access to if you need something extra to help me confirm my identity

Looked into "your account". The e-mail listed is what it is, but there's no change showing on the account. That means if it was changed, it happened before we ported over to XenForo (in May '16).

Furthermore, almost every single PM sent requested the other user to provide their Skype ID. There was a date in January, February, and April '15 where a Skype ID was sent, but it did not include the Skype ID you are claiming.

As such, you are claiming "your account" has been hacked for a minimum of 2 years now and have come back to recover it.

I find this interesting because your IP very closely relates to all IP's spanning from account creation (Oct 21, 2011) up until Jul 11, 2014. A few weeks later the IP, ISP, and country changed on the account and has been that way ever since. If we include the end date, that means you're account has been hacked for roughly 2 years, 5 months, 21 days or a total of 905 days. I'm really curious as to how this could have happened, so I feel like you're leaving something out. Did you share the account with someone else? Did you let a friend overseas use your account and you're trying to get it back? Did you sell your Sythe account?

I'm going to need an extremely good explanation from you before you have any chance of recovering this account. As for now, the account has been banned as a precaution.

    Thank you.
