Account banned, need help

I have a good level 90 something with over 70M, i got banned for an offensive username, and it's appealable now. Back in Christmas '05 it said "sorry your account is banned and unable to appeal any offences." now it's appealable. Please help? I think i'm pretty much fucked because it's offensive username.

 

Well, they've uncensored "ass" and "Damn" I think they'll probaly let up on the offence unless it's too offensive.

tell them that you would be willing to change the user name if you have to

 

tell a joke or something you understand the appeals are totally random. They don't even check. I and many others have sent in bogus appeals which have been approved by jagex bots.

 

Whats the user name? if its something racist or w/e i think they can change your user name if you ask, also do you have evidence for the offence? or does it say deffered or whatever? easier to help if i know exactly what the ban was for.

They can't change usernames, they've said that they don't have the technology.

 

They made the game... They have the technology. They just don't want people requesting name changes.

Just appeal it the way you think best fits, there's no need to work up a panic. You will either lose the account, or you wont. Fingers crossed that your appeal gets accepted.

 

Ya good idea, i sent it in yesterday and sent appeals in for my main to get unmuted, no exitement or dissapointment yet.
