[ACCEPTED] Runescape Account Sales sticky

Suggestion: Clean up the Runescape Account Sales sticky.

The suggested new thread contains all of the current thread's information with the exception of:
Replacing the "Skype PM" to a discord PM with a link to the proper discord PM template.

Obviously this specific suggestion is for the subthread: OSRS Pures & Skillers: Levels 3-69

If this suggestion has enough support and is passed I am willing to clean up all of the subthreads with the corresponding information.

General Rules

1) Accounts that belong in this section:

• [OSRS Pures & Skillers: levels 03-69]
• Any Runescape account which is a Pure or Skiller between combat levels 03 and 69
• Unsure of what type of account you have? Read about Skillers and Pures here

2) Accounts that do not belong in this section:

• Hacked or Phished Accounts - Sythe.org does NOT allow or promote sales of any sales of this kind. You will be banned.
• Any account level 69 or over
• Any Runescape account which is a Main, defined here
• Any name sales trades, they belong here.

3) Threads MUST display the follow information or they will be locked.

• A screenshot of the account's levels (Example) (Example RS3)
• A screenshot of the account's wealth [If specified] (Example) (Example RS3)
• A screenshot of the lobby screen [If specified for membership] (Example) (Example RS3)

*If your account has any offence history you must notify your buyer before trading. Failure to do so will result in disputes being awarded to the buyer by default.


4) You can not have more than 1 thread in this section, if you have multiple accounts to sell that fit in this section, post them all in one account shop thread. A separate WTB and WTS threads are not allowed, they must be combined into one thread.

5) If an account is sold under a payment plan:

• The seller must indicate on his or her sales thread that it was sold "UNDER PAYMENT PLAN" and the details of the payment plan must be agreed upon by both Seller and Buyer (in writing)
• The seller must not exchange vouches with the buyer until the final payment is received.

6) It is the seller's responsibility to disclose to the buyer if the account has ever been botted on.

Terms of Service Rules

Failure to comply with the TOS rules may result in disputes being awarded to the buyer by default.


1) An explicit refund and returns policy must be defined by the seller and agreed upon by the buyer (in writing) before a sale occurs. This is extremely important as it protects both Buyer and Seller. In order for a policy to be enforced, the seller must ensure the buyer has read, understood and agreed to said policy.

2) For account sales you must mention your specific recovery responsibility in your TOS, or you will by default have recovery responsibility forever!

3) Anyone who wishes to sell an account must maintain "recovery responsibility" (they must refund their buyer if the account is recovered or becomes locked and they are unable to unlock it) for at least a month after the sale.

4) Sellers are responsible only for the original sale price of the account, not for any wealth on the account or any increase in value from levels, quests, items, etc.

5) If an account is sold under a payment plan:

Support, I think this is a lot more clean and easier to read through. I also like the way everything is color coded good job.

 

In general rules section 3 the part about picture of offense has recently been change Please refer to newly edited sticky.

You can remove last bullet.

 

I added the last bullet, as there was no example picture listed, but it is required. Didn’t make sense not to have an example picture if all of the others do.

Edit: @Gladiator are ban meter pics still required if there are no offenses?

EDIT: I can't look at old alerts I got, but @Gladiator sent me feedback about a report I made on a post missing this and told me the rule just changed and no longer required it.

@Pendulum is working on something along these lines and we'll get some staff members to help out with all the stickies and not just this section. Good suggestion though, our stickies definitely need some updating.

 

Sure, though some of the stickies have the colors of an entire rainbow and they consist of so many information I wouldn’t even bother reading them, perhaps a tidy up for all sticky bodies could be in place aswell, or make use of spoilers more often.

 

We've updated all the RuneScape Market stickies, we will slowly work our way down the forum and update the rest.
