Pokemon Shiny Mini Rank Idea

Hello fellow Sythe Staff & Members

I've thought about this idea and started converting some pokemon already for the possibility to have Shiny pokemon mini ranks that could possibly be a community event somewhat like the Pokemon Go Community Day's Or could even Follow in @Naughty Suggestion here "Pokemon MiniRank Idea" Where a user could upgrade their current pokemon to a Shiny Via a Payment that could then head towards the Sythe Refund Scheme

"Note: this would stop people from getting upset from having paid so much for a Single mini " the value could possibly increase due to the Rareness of a shiny "

Either way, Shinys are now a thing in the pokemon community and has been for a while it would be nice to bring that to this lovely community.

no support. we dont need more pokemon. would just devalue the ones we have already, also theres still over half that havent been unlocked.

 

I like the idea, but no support. There are enough as there is. And a ton that noone has. But i like your creativity nonetheless

Why do we have blue turtle, red lizard, green flower, yellow rat? (Blastoise, Charizard, Venasaur, Pikachu).

Adding in maybe 4 or 5 extremely rare and cool looking shiny pokemon wouldn't hurt.

 

I support, this is actually a pretty good idea and contrary to popular belief I don't think it will devalue the other pokemons.

Paying to community refund to upgrade it to a Shiny Pokemon is a very good idea.

 

Cool concept that I would love to see this implemented but I'm not sure if it's gonna happen since staff wanna do a mini rank clean up

Highly doubt it would devalue anything as the original pokemon would still keep the value they currently obtain

Understandable, I wasn't suggesting all 504 shinys just selected ones would suffice

+1 I agree with you on this I personally wouldn't Do all of them only a limited amount

Gyarados #1 it took me forever to get it in pokemon Go, and i love it as its CP is 1337,

the rest could possibly be chosen Or even randomly picked. to prevent arguments

Clean up is still possible there are many Dud mini ranks that could be removed for this or even made obsolete thus making these usable.

between 5-20 would be my suggestion, any more wouldn't be needed

but then again, The pokemon THAT haven't been found should be shinys possibly due to those who let's say have the Gyarados and its let's say worth $100 then suddenly the shinys are available they pay the excess and boom its now $350, its tough luckly its not my decision to choose them

I feel that, even though so many pokemon minis aren't released yet, having a few shiny pokemon would be a fun addition as well. I don't think that it will de-value their non-shiny variants because it isn't like non shiny pokemon will start being flooded in supply. There will still be a small amount of rare pokemon and having shiny as a possibility would add something different to the normal pokemon we have now.

I feel it would give the CDT a lot more possibilities for fun events as well (they could be even pokemon related) for the special release of a shiny pokemon which would grab a LOT of attention. Some of which PR could help with as well because there will be a lot of excitement about this and it could help increase community activity Just my two cents, I'd love to see this implemented!

 

Support! A few good ones would be nice to have. It's not like shiny pokemon are gonna end up flooding the market.

 

I like this suggestion. I think a cool idea would be if you could make any pokemon minirank you had "shiny" in exchange for a site/community repayment donation. It would be a way to add variety to miniranks without actually increasing the number of miniranks in the market.

Edit: possible sythe gold perk as well

Edit2: I am thinking the shiny pokemon would be untradable but could be reverted to unshiny and made tradable at any time

 

so removing the pokemon from the directory count and awarding the shiny right? so it would be an exchange for a price.

Pretty good idea, I think making the shiney pokemon untradeable would be a good idea. We could possibly even implement a system where you trade in a full evolution line in exchange for the rare shiney version. I support this suggestion.

 

i disagree. they should be devalued, mini ranks shouldn't be absurdly valueable for something that realistically has 0 value

 

can i just ask who's on your account right now? kid 1 or kid 2? The real video wouldn't make a good suggestion like this so whoever it is good idea.

I like the sythe gold use and then to make it untradeable and you'd have to revert it back to make it tradeable but you'd lose your sythe gold doing so it's a good way to take out sythe gold and make it more useful

 

i support the untradeable idea that @video mentioned. Seems like a great way to allow shinys without increasing circulation, as well as a sink for repayment fund or whatever. Also gives recognition in a way so if you have a shiny, people know you willingly donated to the repayment fund to help.

 

This is in discussion with Sythe I think we will be able to come up with something
